Forever my bundle of joy

Dearest Athan,

I know you're still too little to read what I'm writing here, but I just want you to know how much Daddy and I love you. We've been through tough situations and criticisms before, but still you remained our strength. You're currently 1 year and 5 months now and as young as you are I want you to experience the best things in life. May it be a simple Halloween party, swimming, amusement park ride or ice cream. Right now you don't really understand these things I want you to experience, but at least someday you can look back and say, "I did that!" and reminisce on them. Memories is what make's life sweet and worth living, so as long as you have a good childhood I believe you would grow up to be a happy person. Life is short as they say and as your parents we want you to have the best in this world, so even if you encounter bad things you would learn to never give up because you know there would always be good things ahead. When you grow up I hope you won't forget to live life as an adventure. Aside from education, living your life to the fullest and experiencing life's goodness is the the greatest thing we can leave you.

I love you so much, Athan and there was never a day that I regret being mother to you. I may have had you early then expected, but you are the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me and your Daddy. Going home after school, seeing you run to me and embracing me real tight as if you didn't see me for days is absolutely bliss to me. It's the best feeling. I love you so much, Hunbun. And I hope that you feel happy having us as your parents as we feel truly blessed having you as our son. This letter is not enough to express how much I love you, but everyday watching you grow up is a testament on how much I do. I love, love, love you my son. Always remember that.

Love always, Mommy.
