I've seen this movie twice. Today marks my third time and aside from its excellent soundtrack and romantic-comedy story line, I also love how stylish the lead characters were. Couldn't take my eyes off their clothes while I was watching. :) 80's fashion rocks!! Andie Walsh a.k.a. Molly Ringwald will always be my favorite 80's actress and the 80's will always be an awesome era!:)

If you don't believe me, simply watch this video. Soundtrack by Bowling for Soup- She's got a boyfriend now. I absolutely LOVE Duckie a.k.a. Jon Cryer in this movie too! He got me at the Otis impression. :)

Spot the cool fashion trend in the movie ;)

This whole thing makes me want to dedicate my style to Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club. Must create a inspiration board!

To Iron Maiden and 7UP
Bananarama and Breakfast Club
Come Back, Yeah
Come Back, Yeah
I Come Back

To many men with heavy makeup on
To many poodles with guitars
Thanks for all the joy you've given us
You will always be our superstars

Hooray for Cosby and Rubicks Cube
Hooray for Dynasty and Moon Boots
Hooray for Devo and Barber Curls
Hooray for Poltergeist and Barbie Girls

Like what the famous 90's band Aqua said, "Let's go back to the 80's!"

80's is THE best. Hands down. :)

  3. I love the 80's too. I used to dress super 80's in my early college years. leg warmers and all! It's a bit loud for my style now but I still really appreciate it. My favorite style in that movie comes from Blaine and his mean best friend. The rich kids! Haha :)

Duckie's song and dance number always gets me too. He's so fun!
