A sweet afternoon with Krispy Kreme

by - March 26, 2012

I am beginning to feel how much of a lifestyle blogger I am turning out to be now. I've been going to food, beauty, fashion, mommy and occasionally tech events as well. I like the variety and I actually enjoy doing different events instead of sticking to just one category. :)

Anyhoo, speaking of food, last March 17, I was invited to the 75th Birthday Celebration and opening of Krispy Kreme's new store in the south; Alabang. Sensing it was going to be a doughnut-filled day, I opted to bring the family with me, so they can enjoy it as well.

As soon as we entered the store, you can already smell the freshly baked doughnuts and the chillers got me craving a lot! The little boy himself got amused with the clear class where he could just ogle at the colorful creations of Kripsy Kreme!

We even got a glimpse of their first Baked Creations Theater. As a "Baked Creations Theater," the new Krispy Kreme store in Alabang Town Center is the first in Metro Manila that serves the brand's signature Baked Creations fresh from the oven, everyday. In addition, it will also dish up Krispy Kreme's full line of premium treats including its world-famous Original Glazed Doughnuts and Signature Coffee.

I am honestly not a big doughnut fan. But after having a taste of Krispy Kreme, I am now a convert. I often crave their Original Glazed doughnut. Craving now as I type this. *Why must you torment me??* :))

The fun thing about the Baked Creations Theater, was they actually allowed us to go in and make our own chocolate dipped doughnut and the sprinkles we wanted. Most of the mommies took their kids inside. Of course, I wanted too as well! Exciting ata toh!=P

We had to put on plastic gloves, so that we won't get germs on the sprinkles and dip. Must get out sanitary-on!

Now moment of truth....

To smother it with chocolate and dip!

The fun people I got to spend with that sweet afternoon...

Love you all!:)

Thank you so much to Geiser Maclang and Krispy Kreme for having me at this event. Had a really great time!:)

Krispy Kreme Alabang Town Center opens its doors everyday at 7 in the morning and stays open until 11 in the evening-- giving everyone plenty of time to drop by and grab their favorite treats before they head home from work or school.
