Rajo for SM Parisian & Rajo for SM Milanos

by - September 26, 2012

Attended the launch of Rajo! for SM Parisian and Rajo! for SM Milanos last night over at SMX and I was pretty excited for it, because during the last launch of Rajo for Parisian, I wasn't able to go. I only got to see blog posts about it and bought myself a pair when it came out in the department store. Fortunately, this time I got to experience it with my fellow bloggers and even get a first glimpse of the shoes before they are out at SM Department stores. :)

Before the launch started, we were all gathered into function room 5 and enjoyed the cocktails and the company of friends...

The place was packed, so too bad didn't get to have more pictures with the other blog friends. :( But glad to see and talk to everyone!^_^

The event and shoe collections are actually Japanese-inspired, so when the program started, we were greeted with big asian drums, Japanese colors, clothing and reflections of Japanese culture. :)

The dance performance was really strong and a view of what the runway had to offer.

Finally, Rajo Laurel and SM's Parisian and Milanos bringing Japan to Manila's runway...

Rajo describes, Rajo! for Milanos' collection as for the confident guy on the go. The collection showcases casual and dress shoes made of leather and suede with metallic accents and embroidery.

Next was Rajo! for SM Parisian and you can immediately spot the female models dressed as beautiful modern geishas...

For this collection, Rajo describes the designs featuring bold colors and patterns, as well as sleek lines and curves made of satin, suede, and leather. For the fun loving girl looking for the perfect pair for a night out with her friends, Rajo! for Parisian's line of heels and wedges would be the perfect way to go. For the laid back and casual fashionista, the collection also has metallic flats and suede shoes.

And the finale, the man behind the amazing collection of both brands...

It was so cute how the Rajo Laurel, himself is nervous when he has shows such as this, because he think no one might show up and he's humble about his achievements. :)

After his speech, he told everyone that he wanted all of us to experience what we saw on the runway and he opened up another door that lead us to the showroom with the shoes and where we could actually bring home any pair we wanted!^_^

The place was filled with people trying on shoes and panicking, because the shoe sizes were running out so fast, so Keigh and I decided to just save our voucher and get a pair at the mall itself this weekend. :) After all, it's better to see ALL the shoes lined up in the rack, immerse myself and at the end pick the perfect pair!:)

Really happy I got to go to this event. Thank you, SM Parisian and SM Milanos for inviting me!:)
