Petit Bateau or "little boat" in english is a french brand that started in 1893 and has been around for 120 years. The brand is known for great quality of children's clothing. But as years passed, they also started catering to adults for day-wear. :)
The brand has more than 7000 stores in over 60 countries and now it sets sail to the Philippines with its first flagship branch at SM Aura Premier. Launching mainly as a children's brand in the local market, the brand opened its first branch at the East Wing of Shangri-La Plaza last April.
At the official launch of Petit Bateau last Saturday; July 27, 2013, families were able to enjoy the nautical themed decorations, activities for the kids and food. :)
They also had a fashion show that presented the known moms/parents in the industry. :)
