My happy colour

by - November 13, 2013

Whenever I go window shopping, I find myself going for mint coloured clothes more often than not. There's just something about it that exudes a happy vibe. Despite already having a mint blazer, shorts, sweater, sandals and accessories, I still had the urge to get this Wood Ear Cuffs Mint shorts. They had this in white, but of course, why would I let the mint one pass me by?? That would be mental. Lol!=P Obsessed? But truly, I consider it my happy colour from now on. :)

Happiness may be what we perceive in our minds to be. But I still believe you need a little boost or inspiration from time to time. Such as quotes. When I'm feeling down, I try to look for some and it lessens my blues away and I read some more quotes until it fully goes away. :) It's just a matter of doing something positive to make it through.

I actually would like to share a few quotes that found interesting on TUMBLR. I hope if you're feeling a bit down that this helps even just a bit. :)

You can actually create a collage like this, print it out, then stick it on your planner or mood board. I'm sure it will lift your spirits up. :) It works for me, anyway. :)

Speaking of being happy or merry, I can't believe there are only 42 days left till Christmas! Just look at my Christmasy background. It just screams HELLO PASKO!!! Doesn't it? So fast! But this year for our family, we wouldn't be putting up a tree or wrapping up gifts. We'll still celebrate, of course! We have the kids, so we want them to enjoy. But this will be the first Christmas without my Angkong, so we're still a little heartbroken about that. So, pretty much our Christmas and New year celebration will be on the down-low. :)

I understand our country has been going through a tough time right now. Especially the people in Leyte. I know their Christmas won't be as happy. My heart goes to all the families there right now. I can't imagine how hard it must be. I know I'm not in their position and there's so much work to be done. But I really hope they surpass this, become stronger and I will also try my best to help out in anyway I can. I'm still on the lookout for possible places to pack relief goods. The Hubby and I tried last night after my class and his work, but unfortunately, when we got there, the places were either too full ( they won't let people in anymore) or they were already finished packing. I felt sad, because that was our agenda for the night. But I'll also try my school. Maybe there I could have a better luck. If you know of other places, please do leave me a comment. I would really appreciate it!:) Thank you!

BTW, my fellow Bloggers United Bloggers are gonna have a fund raising for typhoon Yolanda Victims tomorrow 9PM on: http://madtv.ph :) Preloved items from bloggers will be auctioned off and the proceeds will be donated. :)

For now, I hope that typhoons give us a looooong break. If pwede lang forever. I think we've gone through too much calamities lately. :( But let us not forget that God is here with us. I believe he will always guide us to better things. :)

Wishing everyone a great and blessed day ahead!:)
