Secret garden to Modern Royal Treatment
Nowadays, we all know
that we through so many hustle and bustle in life. One can be preoccupied a lot
with work, school, kids, social gatherings and even all of the above! So when
that happens, we obviously get burned out at one point and we know that we deserve
some major “me-time” or pampering. But
with all the spas and wellness centers sprouting like mushrooms, which places
actually provide THE best service? I think that when you look out for yourself
in terms of wellness, it’s always important to get exceptional service, don’t
you?
I myself have a few
favorites and by favorites, I mean you can only count them with my five
fingers. One of those places is none other than The Spa Wellness. I’m sure
you’re quite familiar with them since they’re one of the known Spa and wellness
center in Manila. :)
They have eight
branches to date and for their eighth branch, I had the pleasure of attending
their launch at the new wing of Shangri-La Mall. They have other branches that
are close to my place. But I like Greenbelt and Shangri-La the most, because if
I don’t have our car, I can easily ride the MRT and I’m there! Perfect and
easy!
So what’s so great about the Shangri-La branch
of The Spa Wellness? Well, it’s actually the second branch that carries all
three house brands; it caters to the luxury relaxation (The Spa), fitness (barre 3),
and beauty (SKIN Dermatology & Laser
Center) needs of its clientele.
We got to tour the different suites of The Spa Wellness and our first stop was the barre 3 studio. It has a capacity for
19 people and this allows guests to enjoy one powerful workout which combines the grace of the ballet barre, the wisdom of yoga, and the strength of Pilates.
Truth be told, I've always been scared to try out any fitness activity. I feel like it would totally kill my body!>_< But after seeing the graceful demonstration by the trainer, I am definitely going on my first fitness tryout this year! I'll keep you updated on how it goes! barre 3, here I come!!^_^
Next, we finally got to my favourite part! The Spa!! With matching kilig yan!=P That's how much I want NEED massages and relaxation!
The Spa provides a wide array of premium services, procedures and treatments. Massages, body treatments, sublime facials and more can be enjoyed by guests at the comfort of private rooms. And in your very own private sanctuary, you get to enjoy a jacuzzi and/or shower and steam. The earthly-toned interiors adds to the distinct relaxing ambience of The Spa Wellness.
I am definitely loving the different kinds of room. Especially the one where couples can stay. Perfect for you and your partner to unwind.
For the final tour, we got to see their SKIN Dermatology and Laser Center.
Besides the highly-trained skin doctors accredited by the Philippine Dermatological Society (PDS) who conduct consultations and administer procedures, what sets SKIN apart is it offers the total package of bringing luxury treatment to its guests. Guests are able to relax with the interiors bringing life and a light ambience. Much like its predecessor in Bonifacio High Street, guests are also treated with the famous ginger tea of The Spa as they wait for their appointment with their dermatologist in the plush lounge area.
I love the ginger tea, so I won't mind waiting haha!:) I can't wait to come back and oh! my barre 3 experience soon! Count on that! This year is all about staying happy and fit!^_^
For me, The Spa Wellness is my top choice. Why wouldn't it be? It's my one-stop shop to everything I wanna have when it comes to complete wellness. I wouldn't have to go to different places and I know for sure that I have found the secret garden to luxe rejuvenation!
