Sen Lek Thai

by - March 19, 2014

It's been almost 15 years since I last saw Thailand and I miss it so much. The culture is just so rich that you want to experience more. It never seems enough. But since I don't have the time nor capacity to go there every time I please, I try to relieve my Bangkok days through Thai food. :)

There are many Thai restaurants in the Metro. But if you're into quick service and good rice noodles, you can try out Sen Lek Thai.

They have a lot of choices from rice, noodles to side orders. For their drinks, they have the Thai milk tea. To be honest, I haven't tasted authentic Thai milk tea yet, so this was a first for me. I could say that I liked it. :) It was way better than the one that I tried in a can from 7-11.

The place is quite cozy since it's not that big. There's also air conditioning, so you won't have to worry about sweating while eating your hot noodles.

In any case you're looking or craving for some Thai delicacies, Sen Lek Thai also carries some. Feel free to check it out if you visit them. :)

They also have added stuff on the menu like the ones above and for a fairly reasonable price. I have yet  to try those though, because I focused on their best seller, which was the Mix Special Noodle and Phad Thai.

Among the two, I could say that I enjoyed the Mixed Special Noodle more. If I'm not mistaken, I believe the price is only Php 90 and I think it's worth it. It had a lot of veggies, noodles and the soup was good. I would definitely go back for this whenever I want a quick Thai noodle soup fix. :)

As for the Phad Thai, it was also good. It had a strong flavor and since I'm not much of a dry noodle fan, this only came second to the mixed special noodle.

The baby and I enjoyed dining at Sen Lek Thai. I would want to come back again to try their other rice noodles. :)

If you want to try them out also, you can visit them at the following branches:
