Aéropostale Spring 2016

by - May 11, 2016

Aéropostale introduces its Spring 2016 fashion trends influenced by Spring Break and the warm weather in cool new fashion. This season features a variety of updated basics with enhanced details and colorful statement pieces for the Aéropostale customer to combine and style their favorite spring time looks.

For the Girl Spring Trends, they have...

Water Garden - whimsical, romantic garden provides inspiration for the first introduction to Aéropostale's Spring collection. A sense of softness is created by using subtle textures throughout this assortment. Feminine shades of soft coral, yellow and pink are grounded by creamy white and olive tones. These colors are blended together to create a watercolor effect. To complete the look, romantic painterly floral prints are mixed with soft focused geometric patterns.

Indigo Groove - Hippie chic has never looked so good! Prints and patterns in a variety of blue hues easily mix together creating an irresistible Bohemian collection. The introduction of spicy colors such as nutmeg and paprika add dimension to the palette. Globally inspired prints featuring tile, patchwork, stripes and dye effects are represented.

Spring Break - This collection is inspired by the customer's favorite spring break getaway! The weather change allows more time for sun, friends and cool new fashion. This collection features ikat and tile prints with a soft, blurred effect. Antiqued floral prints on small and large scales are accented with embroidery and lace details to give the product more depth. Printed rompers paired with light weight cardigans and scrappy sandals will be the go to look this season.

For the Guy Spring Trends...

Deep Blue Sea - Inspired by the 1950's and 1960's, this collection is also heavily influenced by the deep sea. A color palette of washed out blues and burnt red are combined with dip dye and tie dye techniques to support the inspiration. Texture continues to elevate and bring interest to solid garments throughout the assortment while stripes and plaids remain a key staple. To add a source of contrast and playful, excitement pops of floral have been designed as an accent and can be seen in pockets and linings.

The Wonder Years - A vintage vibe continues throughout the season as athletic elements are added  to keep the assortment fresh. The color palette shifts to green and oranges while remaining clean and simple. Floral and prints are designed on a larger scale and are available in new graphics while tie dye effects are mixed with athletic graphics to provide an updated look for the Aéropostale guy.

Malibu Sunset - This assortment is inspired by spring break in the 90's. Prints and graphics have a Miami palm tree, spring break influence with a soft color palette. Unexpected, fun vacation icons are used as conversation pieces in woven shirts while fern and palm tree patterns are used in the bottom category. Dip dye and gradient techniques provide a sunset feel to complete the collection.

The Spring 2016 trends of Aéropostale really got me hooked and loving the girls collection the most! Especially Indigo Groove!

The fashion show and event was done at Central Square in Bonifacio High Street Central and after the show, went to their Aéropostale store. :)
