Flavors of Contadina + My pasta recipe!

by - December 24, 2016

A few weeks back, I was invited by Contadina to attend their supermarket raid at Robinsons Selection at Venice Piazza, Mckinley. Naturally, I got excited because I really love grocery shopping. There's just something relaxing about it. :) Of course, I just had to bring my favorite grocery buddy, Asher! ^_^

In case you didn't know, Contadina products are finally available in supermarkets near you! The brand, known for its use of rich, quality ingredients sourced from the world's most fertile regions, is now available across the country. Container's products range from pasta sauces, variations of tomatoes, olive oil, and pasta - the essentials of mediterranean cooking. :)

Pasta is one of my favorite food of all time and the first thing that I actually learned how to cook. :) My mom is a great cook and I can say that I got my learning experience from the best. Now, I cook pasta for my family as often as I could. It's the best feeling when I see them loving the food that I cook! ^_^

For this supermarket raid, I specifically got ingredients for my Tuna with Feta cheese pasta!

In line with the spirit of the holidays, I want to share with you my Contadina recipe that you can easily make for your friends and family! :)

My Tuna with Feta Cheese pasta...

What you'll need....

Ingredients:

* 4 cloves of garlic, minced
* Half onion, minced
* Diced onion
* 1 tablespoon of Butter
* Three cans of tuna
* 500g Contadina Spaghetti
* Contadina Formaggio Pasta Sauce
* Feta cheese cubes
* Pepper
* Sugar

1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to boil. Then cook pasta noodles for 10-15 minutes or until al dente.
2. Melt butter in pan and sauté garlic and onion until golden, then add tuna and cook for 5 minutes. 3. Next, mix in Contadina Formaggio Pasta Sauce and stir occasionally. Put pepper or sugar to adjust taste. :)
4. Finally, toss pasta with sauce and feta cheese cubes, and serve!

That easy, guys! :) Only the best ingredients for your family and friends, right? :) I actually cooked this very same dish for our high school Christmas party last Thursday and it was a hit! :)
