Easy Peasy Roasted Chicken Recipe!♥

by - August 03, 2017

When it comes to cooking, I must admit it isn't my forte. But since I already have a family, it's an absolute must and I also want to learn! That's why when my Mom is around, I often ask her for help and I actually learned how cook because of her! :) I know a lot of people would say their Mom is the best cook, but I also believe that my Mom works wonders in the kitchen! ^_^

Just recently I wanted to learn how to cook your basic roasted chicken, but knowing my mom she would want to add a little flair to it and I'll be sharing with you, guys how we cooked it!

Before anything else, the number one thing that my Mom taught me when it comes to food is always pick THE best quality and the freshest ingredients. We try to avoid food with too much preservatives and animal products that have been injected with hormones, because it can be detrimental to your health and can get you sick in the long run. Fortunately, there are brands nowadays that care for the overall health of families who buy their product, like Magnolia. :)

Did you know that Magnolia's chickens are raised in stress-free environments, free from hormones and steroids, free from antibiotic residues, and has omega 3? With all those, you are assured that you have only the best for your family and it's easy to find! Simply go to the grocery and you'll already spot Magnolia Chicken stations. :)

Now, with the main ingredient in check, here's how Mom and I made our easy peasy Roasted Chicken!

First thing you'll need is a one whole Magnolia Chicken - take note that it should be pink in color, not slimy and tender for you to be sure that it is top quality. ;)

Other ingredients that you'll need are:

 1 Lemon
Onion
6 Garlic Cloves
Fresh Thyme
White Wine
2 TBSP Butter
Salt
Pepper
Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2: Stuff the lemon, thyme, garlic, onion, butter and lemon zest inside the chicken.

Step 3: Rub the extra virgin olive oil around the chicken, sprinkle a good amount of salt around it and pour white wine on the bottom of the roasting pan.

Step 4: Put it in the oven and roast for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until you see that its skin is lightly browned

Step 5: Take it out of the oven and you are ready to serve! :)

Super easy, right? :) Now, as a mom, you won't have to worry about working up a sweat in the kitchen with this easy recipe and at the same time, you're giving nothing but the best for your family. :) So, continuously make quality choices!
