Train from Busan | Hotel 28 | Innisfree Green Café.♥

by - January 26, 2018

The 2018 Winter Olympics a.k.a. PyeongChang 2018 will already be happening next month in South Korea, so it is no doubt that a lot more people will be heading there pretty soon and if you're one of those people planning a trip any time soon, i'd like to share places you would love in SoKor! ^_^

TRAIN FROM BUSAN

After our two days stay in Busan, it was time for us to bid it goodbye, but even leaving the place got us excited, because we were going to ride the Korea Train Express or KTX to Seoul! What's so special about it? It's the actual place where they filmed the zombie apocalypse action thriller, Train to Busan! This immediately made my heart flutter cos of my main Oppa Gong Yoo!♥♥♥

Reminded me of Descendants of the Sun! :)

The station of Busan is quite big and beautiful. :) If you want to go to Busan or Seoul, this is one of the fastest ways.  I tried checking the price of the KORAIL pass online and a Day Pass goes for Php 3,700+ and this is via KKday. For the travel time, it takes around 2 hours to get to Seoul.

We had an early call time, so most of the ride I was fast asleep. >_< I did however kept thinking how the actors of Train to Busan fit themselves in the headspace/compartment above the chairs??

With these beautiful bunch: Sarah, Mel, Say, Kisty, Jackie, Unnie Jackie, Ida, Jeline :)

Following Sarah, Crissey and Tricia! :)

Finally at Seoul! :)

HOTEL 28

As soon as we arrived in Seoul, we were greeted by our bus and it took us to Myeongdong, where our hotel was conveniently located. :)

Hotel 28 is a luxury boutique hotel in Seoul and the theme of the whole hotel takes inspiration from old films or movies. We were also told by one of the staffs that the owner is actually a 1920s actor. :) Oh and unique privileges in this hotel too is high-speed WiFi and the FREE minibar! Wee! ^_^

The particular room that Sarah and I stayed in is a Deluxe Twin and would cost around 228,000 KRW or Php 10, 903. :)

At the 6th floor of the hotel is Wolhyang. You can expect delicious breakfast and fresh coffee here every morning. :)

Frequent breakfast buddies: Jackie, Kisty and Crissey :)

They serve Korean dishes for breakfast too! This spread would definitely make me a morning person! ^_^

INNISFREE

I love everything about South Korea and another favorite place of mine at Myeongdong is the flagship store of Innisfree.♥ This particular store has 3 floors. The first one is the makeup and skincare area and the 2nd and 3rd floor has the Innisfree Green Café. :)

Skincare heaven!♥♥♥

SHEET MASKS for daaaaaayyyyysss!

To be honest, I didn't know why my friends loved Innisfree so much before. But when I tried out their Super Volcanic Clay Mousse Mask, I got converted! It's like a holy grail and I totally regret that I didn't hoard while I was there. :( But that only means, I must come back! ^_^

Customize your very own cushion to match your style! :)

Step 1:  Choose a cushion refill according to your skin type
Step 2: Choose a beauty tool (puff or brush)
Step 3: Choose a case design

You're done! Cute, right?? ^_^

On to the second floor, if you love Lee Min Ho, try the Innisfree VR out! We were just watching Say Tioco and Jeline do this and I was already feeling the romantic excitement! Saranghae!♥ >_<

Fashion and beauty brands nowadays are following into the trend of having cafés and the Innisfree Green Café can easily turn into a favorite with its beautiful interiors and relaxing ambiance! Especially if you're tired from shopping and want a cozy place to chill out. :)

The food that they serve is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also quite good!  I recommend trying out the Tiramisu and fruit toast!♥

With my Momma chingus, Jackie and Sarah! :)

So, if ever you're in Myeongdong, don't forget to drop by the Innisfree flagship store!♥
