Go out, of course!:) We all haven't been to The Manila Ocean Park, so the family and I decided to spend the new year at the Oceanarium and leave the habit of staying at home for a change. :)
Going to Manila Ocean Park on a New Year's day is something I do not recommend. The place was packed with people and the ticket booth was taking forever. The number given to us when we got there was #693 and they were just serving #509 at that time. We waited for almost an hour. Luckily, a lady handed us her number, which was #615 and we got to purchase tickets faster. We in return, gave our #693 stub to a woman who was holding a #750. Paying it forward. ;)
Starfish and Turtles are one of my favorite sea creatures. :) I was thrilled that I got to touch a starfish for the very first time!
Took a photo of my boys before heading to the aquariums. :) They look cute!
After strolling at the Oceanarium, we went to Seriland--a play area inside Manila Ocean Park and played with Athan. :) Here you will discover how kiddy Gersh and I are and how protective we are of Athan when he plays...
We never leave him when he's playing in public. We stick close by him to make sure he's safe at all times. I don't know how some parents can stand just watching in the distance, while their kids are running around without supervision.
I guess this is one of the perks of being young parents. Your quite young that you enjoy playing with your kids all the more. :) But, please I don't suggest being parents at a young age, okay?:) Better to always wait. ;)
Anyhoo, the day was stressful at first, but it was worth it in the end. We all had a great Saturday and 1.1.11!
Ooh Ocean Park, I've never been to the one in Manila! Love the HK Ocean Park though. :-) Man now I don't feel like I deserve to be called Manila Girl! Hahaha!
Ava!! next time go ot the jelly fish one!! :-) I highly recommend it! went on a date there and hate the oceanarium itself cause I felt it was too bitin BUT the jellyfish exhibit made up for it! :-) Im sure your boys will both LOVE it! :-)
Oooh, i went there din for new year's last year :) and yeah, definitely wouldn't recommend going there during those events :)) or anywhere big and public for that matter, like Starcity or MoA. bad experience. hahaha! but not so much that it ruined the celebratory mood :) anyway glad you had fun! so nice to see family happy and bonding!
I haven't been to Manila Ocean Park, too. And didn't even plan on going due to bad reviews and testimonies. Hee. But this post made me want to at least see it! :)

It's always nice to see young couples with their kiddos enjoying things like these. I used to have the same "family" but I failed to keep him. :(
