My hair has been jet black ever since I was a baby, From grade school to high school you're really not allowed to have colored hair so I never got the chance and I didn't attempt to color it even when I got to college already. As hair stylists would call it, "virgin hair!" =P so last Sunday I went on a little trip to Azta Urban Salon at SM San Lazaro to pamper my hair and give it a makeover. I thought it was about time for a change!;)


I like how the place was spacey and really clean. No clippings of hair on the floor whatsoever and each seat already has magazines waiting for the customers viewing pleasure. Thumbs up!




Another nice thing about Azta is they also have drinks on the house and with many choices too! I had cold milk tea and it was good!^_^


Like I mentioned above, I have no experience with hair coloring, so I was bit clueless when it came to picking colors. I wanted something noticeable but at the same time not too drastic, so I picked the color that was closest to brown; The dark beige golden blonde a.k.a. color 6, 73. :)

And the result? *drum roll*



Tadah! I wasn't able to take pictures at the salon anymore cos there were a lot of people coming in. *kahiya* hihi!=P I honestly wish I picked something that was MORE noticeable, because the effect of the color that I picked was lighter than I expected. But still I'm happy that it tamed my jet black hair to a slightly brownish shade. :) What you guys think?

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I went to the very first Globe Tattoo Awards last Friday together with my blogger friends at Manila Peninsula. I picked my favorites during the voting for nominees, so I was pretty excited to see who the winners were gonna be per category. :)

When we got in the Rigodon ballroom, we were greeted with polaroids and a wall where we can post and write messages on. Call me a kid, but I find it SO kewl!=P

Bloggers United, represent!

The hosts of the event was none other than the gorgeous, funny, Divine Lee and ever-so fashionable, Tim Yap.

When the winners were all finally announced, I was thrilled to know that the two people I voted for in the STYLISMO and VIDEO SLINGER category won!!^_^

Congratulations to Laureen Uy for winning Stylismo and to my favorite boy on Youtube, Mikey Bustos for bagging the Video Slinger award! I actually tweeted him and was fortunate to get a response...

In the words of the great Mikey Bustos: "Yiiii!! Kilig to the bones!"=P

A big congratulations to the rest of the winners as well! Absolutely well deserved!

We also had a few band and singers per awarding. Would you believe we had the cute and talented, Maria Aragon at the Globe Tatt Awards?? She sang her famous video, "Born this way" by Lady Gaga. She was the sweetest too!^_^

Had a fun night at the Globe Tatt Awards. Hoping for another one next year!:)

I really don't know what my internet individuality is but that was the dress code for the very first Globe Tatt  Awards and since the theme color of Tattoo has a hint of orange, I decided to wear the same color!:)

And to add my internet individuality to it, I paired it with colorful accessories that I can never go without...STACKED BRACELETS!!^_^

I remember getting a question before on formspring asking me if I still commute even if I'm in a skirt and my answer was, YES! I actually commute even if I'm in a dress and heels. :) Its pretty challenging, but sometimes I have no choice. The technique is to just pretend that people don't exist when they're staring at you. As if you don't see anything. Haha!:)) A little fashion commuter tip!;) But the original Fashion commuter is still my Beb, Ana!

Attended the press release of Golden ABC last night at Museum Cafe and honestly, I really didn't know what to expect because its actually my first event from Golden ABC and when I got there it was pretty intimate with only a few bloggers in the room and the wonderful people behind GABC. We were also served a yummy a la carte dinner. :)





WHAT DO YOU GET UP FOR?
When we were asked that question at the Golden ABC's press release, I suddenly stopped and thought to myself, "what do I get up for everyday?" I realized that I get up for a lot of things; for Athan who means the whole world to me, for my loved ones, for my schooling, for what I love to do, my dreams, and to help people in need even in small ways.

Golden ABC is the country's fashion pioneer and owner of leading brands Penshoppe, Oxygen, ForMe, Memo, and Regatta. For their 25th anniversary they'll be launching an innovative corporate social responsibility (CSR) platform, entitled "GET UP".



I guess you're wondering why "GET UP" well, GABC got the Tagalog tag line of "Anong Get Up mo?"(meaning: what are you wearing?) But with that, Mr. Bernie Liu, CEO & President of Golden ABC also want people to know that its not just about what we wear, but it's also the call to action to do something valuable for others and the country.

We were also shown a video showing the different people involved in GABC's advocacy and I was surprise to see that fellow blogger, Sarah was actually in it! One cool momma!!:)


Fashion now has taken a different toll and I admire the people who not only meet the wants of people through clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. But works on their social responsibility as well.

So how does GABC's platform work? Its easy as pie!


For every minimum single receipt purchase of Php 1,000 in any stores (Penshoppe, Oxygen, ForMe, Memo & Regatta) of GABC, the customers are given the chance to donate Php 25 to any advocacy of their choice. You will also be given a shoelace token and a donation card with a unique number code and an augmented reality pattern.


When you finally have your shoelace, you can log onto GETUP.PH and you can donate your Php 25 to your chosen advocacy....

With Sarah, Jeri, Gellie, Vern and Mikka It was my first time to meet Gellie, Jeri and Mikka. They're really nice. :) I wanna thank Golden ABC for having me at their presscon. It was an eye opener for me that big companies like them do not only think about making profit, but they also a big heart to change the lives of people in need. :)

Been busy with school for the past week and with Athan so I didn't attend much events since August started. Luckily, my schedule today permitted me to go to Golden ABCs event. :) Though I missed the FaDAL one cos we had to run to MMC to get Athan's lab test. Sigh. There's always a next time. Congrats again to Mike and Karl!:)

Anyhoo, why the title? My outfit's color kind of reminds me of creme brulee, so that's the first thing that came into mind. =P I also didn't really think of what I would wear for the event cos I was so groggy from the long day at the hospital with Athan, but I hope I pulled off my "impulse" look well. :)
