I didn't get the chance to have my solo picture taken last Wednesday, so I can't thank Paul enough for taking these shots of me! I have an outfit post after all!:) BTW, you should check out his blog! He's just starting but if you visit his site, it wouldn't seem like he's a newbie. The photos are amazing!

For the shoot we were welcome to come as who we are or how we dress as bloggers and since I love colors and my blog is titled, "Artsy Fartsy Ava" I sticked with a colorful ensemble and I wore my cute feather necklace from Maris. The color of the feathers matched perfectly with my clothes!:)

BTW, Thank you so much for the nice comments on my previous entry!:) I'm so psyched for it, I hope I don't jinx it haha! Enough talking. =P Thank you again!!

Last Wednesday I had my very first major shoot with my fellow bloggers and up to now I am still overwhelmed by the experience and being chosen to be part of this campaign for a very big brand. Its not everyday that you get an opportunity of being on a LED billboard that will be shown in 3 different places (Edsa Paragon, Katipunan and Lawton) knocking on your doorstep. I always dreamed of being in a magazine but never did I imagine will I be on a billboard! Level up!:) So when the shoot day finally came, I was beyond excited, honored and grateful for it!:)

Our good friend and PR, Paul also dropped by the shoot to support Bestie! Pax is not only a stylist now but also a photographer! Yes naman! haha!:))

Time for some "picture-picture" with friends after the shoot! In case you're wondering, my original outfit was the vest and pink skirt. I just changed after the shoot. I wanted to wear something more comfortable, so changed into my Penshoppe varsity jacket and shorts!:)

Aside from the experience being overwhelming, I also had such a great time hanging out, talking, laughing and being crazy with my blog friends. I can't thank them enough for being good to me and being true friends. :) I never imagined we'll be this close but now that we are, I'm so happy with our blogger circle and how our relationship has become even stronger. Like I told my Beb Ana, I don't have a barkada in school, that's why I really am grateful to have her and the rest of my blog friends in my life. Cheers to friendship!

I guess the popular word for this post is "GRATEFUL" and I truly am grateful for the blessings God has been giving me. You know how sometimes you don't deserve it yet he still does? God is indeed good at all times. :) Life maybe hard but he always gives us sweet surprises. :) Thank you also to the "brand" for trusting me and my blog for this campaign! Thank you thank you!

Now, to just wait for the outcome/result of our shoot!!:) I'm so excited and I just can't hide it! Obvious ba?? I wonder how Athan will react to it?? haha!:))

I've been blogging for a number of years now and in the past even until now I can't believe that blogging has gone so far and has been a great medium for businesses and fashion. Its really impressive and I am honored to be part of the blogging community such as the Blogapalooza!:)





The first ever Blogapalooza event was held at Fully Booked, Fort. I was a bit late so when I got up to the 5th floor of Fully Booked a lot of people were already roaming around the venue and businesses having their talks. I missed a few but still got to catch up on the others. When I got there I also noticed this huge Blogapalooza board and all the 150 bloggers who were invited had their URLS up there. Of course I had to take a picture near mine! Got SO kilig when I saw this!^_^


Of course aside from the businesses and bloggers, this cool event wouldn't have happened without radio DJ, Vince Golangco!:) Too bad I wasn't able to say Hello and talk to him. Next time!

Here were some of the businesses that I got to see and try at the event...


Golden ABC: Memo, For Me, & Regatta. I'm sure all of you know these stores because they're very popular in malls. :)


Farmer John premium potato chips. I tried their BBQ flavor from the loot bag we got and it is soooo good! I opened the small one first and finished it in a matter of seconds, so I just had to open the bigger bag. Healthy junk food?:)


One of my favorite eco-friendly products; TREE HUGGER! Been using these since first year college and I love their pens. Especially the highlighter and pen all in one. Pretty useful when you don't wanna bring too much pens in school. Plus, its 95% Earth-friendly. ;)


This is my first time to encounter Shopinas.com. Its a site wherein you can sell and buy things online.



This is another first for me. HEALTHY FIRST. I never knew that carrot juice combined with other fruits would taste so good! I found it weird at first but when I had the Carrot four season and Carrot Mango Lychee, I wanted to get a bottle hihi. But kahiya naman!=P For health buffs and even if you're not, I recommend this!


We also got to hear talks from businesses like, Fashion Art (FART), Lazer Xtreme, Boudoir Dolls, HTC, Size Matters and Tripologie where our lucky friend, Pax won a cute laptop bag!:) She her??


My favorite drink of all time... TEA! Lipton Tea, specifically!:) I'm easily drawn to tea and when I saw "cream milk tea" I just had to try it. :)

Of course if there are businesses, there are also a lot of awesome bloggers to meet and bond with at the event. This was the best part for me!

I guess a lot of you guys saw the loot from other bloggers who attended the Blogapalooza, so i'll post mine but only got to take a portion of it. Sorry! But the loot was really overwhelming! I think the biggest loot bag I've received by far!:)

Going crazy over purple lately. I know my favorite color is pink but I find myself getting lured to purple when it comes to accessories as well. Hence, my purple fringe necklace from Holic. Super love the necklace! You should visit Holic for their lovely wrap bracelets, fringe earrings and more..Thank you, Mitzi for my necklace!♥ Also, my spike bracelet from Bubbles and Skull bracelet from Anagon. Even my phone case is purple (you just can't see it). I'm on a purple frenzy!

Loving my cute turtle ring from Anagon!! I have a soft spot for turtles. They're one of my favorite animals, so when I saw this during the Port 88 Bazaar, I immediately got it off the ring rack and wore it. Thank you, Beb for this!^_^

As for the chucks. I know you don't often see me in sneakers when I do my outfit posts but I kinda missed being in flats. I used to be a Converse girl, ya know. ;) Plus, who can resist cupcakes??? J'adore.♥ I figured I was also too purple so I went with neon pink and blue socks. :)

My Sunday is pretty chill. Reason why I wanted to wear something comfortable. Went to hear mass with Gersh awhile ago then had some bibingka and puto bumbong in the spirit of Christmas!:) 91 days left, I think? Yey!!
