Weekend getaway!

It's not every weekend that we get to spend our Saturday differently, so when Gersh's boss gave him a gift certificate to Diamond Hotel and booked us last Saturday, we got so ecstatic!:) We've never stayed or been to Diamond Hotel and to have the chance to stay a night for free was just awesome!

Hello down there!:)

We got to the hotel around 1:30 PM even if the check-in time was 2PM, because we wanted to be sure that we had a parking space for the car. Seeing the hotel, I give it 4 stars; available parking spots, good accommodation and friendly staff!
Getting in our room, it was cozy and clean. We also had a nice view of the city and a bit of the bay area. :)

Before heading out for lunch, we enjoyed a few minutes in our room. :) Athan, no matter where he is just can't get enough of watching his favorite cartoon shows. =P The Hubby got dibs on the sofa and I on the bed. It was really relaxing!

The pool was the next stop for the family and I, but since I couldn't go swimming anymore, we just supervised Athan while he enjoyed swimming. :) Such bliss seeing his happy face!
Night time activity for us was pretty simple. We had take out for dinner, watched TV and ate a lot of junk food! Chips, juice, cookies, you name it! =P

Our one night stay at Diamond Hotel included the Breakfast Buffet, so we got up as early as 7:30 AM for it. :) It was a bit tough waking up though, because we slept so late. hehe. :))

Seeing all the yummy food certainly woke us up from our sleepy phase. :) They had a lot to offer. By far, they have the best hotel breakfast food for me!^_^
I wish Gersh's boss will always be in the mood to give out hotel GCs, because we surely enjoyed our weekend. Hoping for more family weekends such as this!:)
