Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic

by - September 22, 2013

Instax cameras are becoming all the rage again for a lot of people and I couldn't blame them. I myself just recently got an Instax Mini 8, because despite already having a Canon G12, I still yearn for memories that I can have easy access to or have in an instant, so I can stick them on my planner for whatever special event happened that day and with an Instax camera, you can easily do that!:) My planner is actually filled with Instax photos. ^_^

So with Instax being so popular now, FujiFilm Philippines is proud to announce the latest addition to its growing line up of instant photo cameras-- the Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic.

If the it's believed that most Instax cameras are more for girls, then I believe the Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic would certainly make not only the girls, but even the guys to want it as much! This camera boasts of its elegant two-tone retro-look design on top of its advanced and many features.

Two of our most handsome and "boys-who-girls-want-to-marry" (yes, naks!!^_^) camera-savvy friends; Paul Chuapoco and David Guison were actually already able to try the Neo Classic prior to the launch and they explained to us the following shooting modes that the camera has...

Paul explaining his INSTAXED effects on his blog :)
David showing his Double exposure photos :)

Double Exposure- By selecting the double exposure and pressing the shutter button twice, one can superimpose two different images in one frame to create an artistic photo.

Bulb Exposure- In Bulb exposure, the shutter remains open (up to 10 seconds) while the shutter button is depressed, enabling photo capture that shows attractive night views and light streaks.

High Performance Flash- emits the ideal amount of the light finely adjusted for the distance to the subject and ambient brightness. It helps to optimize exposure.

Party Mode- enables the background as well as the subject to be captured brightly.

Kids Mode- this mode is helpful to capture fast moving subjects like children and animals.

Landscape Mode- It is best suited to target a distant subject (3m to infinity).

Macro Mode- The newly equipped macro mode lets one enjoy stunning close-up photography (from 30cm to 60cm).

Brightness Control- One can add allow-key or high-key effect by controlling the brightness of photos.

Those are 8 amazing features and basically this is like a lomo camera. Only, you don't have to wait to get your photos to get developed. Just one snap and you can immediately see the what you have captured. :)

Finally the big reveal to the media by the awesome Japanese directors of Fuji Film here in the Philippines. :) The Neo Classic will officially be available on the last week of September and with the SRP of Php 8,990. :)

Oh BTW, the next Instax camera would have films as big as what I'm holding above. Kidding!!!=P Kudos to Paul for the amazing design during the launch and Beb Ana for the super cool wire holders for the Instax photos!

After the program, the people of FujiFilm, brought us a tray of films and Instax cameras and everyone at the launch was able to try the new Neo Classic and the many film designs that FujiFilm offers. :) This I have to say was so much fun! Hoard ng films kung hoard! haha!:))
