Share happiness!♥

by - July 13, 2014

When I was in my 3rd year in college, I learned and watched in one of my business classes about a  really cool campaign of Coke, which showed bottles and cans that had the names of people. Of course, being it so personalised, the phenomenal Coca-Cola campaign took over 50 nations by storm and ever since that day, I wished that we would have it here. Guess what? Dream come true for me yesterday! Share a Coke is finally in the Philippines!^_^

Well, to be honest, I already started seeing the most popular Pinoy nicknames, terms of endearment, and group names on Coke bottles and cans last Monday when the boys and I did our monthly grocery. I found it so awesome that I bought a can that says "CUTIE" on it. I'm sure some of you have seen it on my Instagram. :) A friend of mine even dubbed it as a "PICKUPCAN" haha! When you think about it, this would be perfect to give or share to people you like. ;)

I find it really great that  Coca-Cola has decided to bring this wonderful campaign to the Philippines. Like what the Marketing Director of Coca-Cola Philppines, Ms. Jasmin Vinculado said, "We brought Share A Coke to the Philippines with one goal - to share happiness. Sharing a Coke is a simple yet fun and exciting way for us Filipinos to be able to show our appreciation to people who make us happy."

Generally speaking, doesn't happiness will more real when shared? And true enough, wouldn't you be happy if someone shared a Coke with you and you see your name or something sweet written on it?:)

Ms. Jasmin Vinculado

Aside from the official launch of Share A Coke, another highlight was a celebration of the long-standing partnership between Coca-Cola and the country's leading teen clothing brand Bench. This, I am a witness of, because I was fortunate enough to be part of their Rally for Happiness & 100th year anniversary two years ago. :) It's really amazing how long Coke and Bench have been together. More years to come! ;) Staying true to the essence of Share a Coke, Ms. Jasmin Vinculado, on behalf of Coca-Cola, shared a Coke with Ben Chan, Chairman and CEO of Bench to show their company's appreciation for all the years they have worked together.

After the sharing of Ms. Vinculado and Mr. Ben Chan, it was followed by a fashion show, where models strutted in stylized Share a Coke shirts, showcased their personalised Coca-Cola bottles and cans on the runway.

Share A Coke with your batchmates, classmates, barkada, kuya, officemate, 'nay, sweetheart, cutie and friends who make you happy!:) Did you manage to spot your own name on the models' shirt?:)

Of course, this fashion show wouldn't be complete without the Coca-Cola ambassadors Joseph Marco, Julia Montes, and Enchong Dee.

This part was so cute, because each ambassador shared personalised Coke cans bearing terms of endearment "Crush", "Hottie", and "Love" to some unsuspecting guests. Too bad I wasn't given the "Crush" can by Enchong Dee! Cue in *heart breaking into a million pieces* :((( Haha!:))

Me, Sarah and Ana :)

Models also gave out personalised Coke cans to a few people from the audience and our lucky blogger friend Sarah was snagged by a cute model and gave her this Coke can! This is so true! Haba ng hair, Momma Sar!;)

The message of the event was simple: Sharing a Coke is a simple yet personal way to show appreciation for people who make you happy. :) Whether that be an officemate named "Jen" who makes work bearable through lunch breaks, your barkada who is always there for you or your 'Nay who loves you unconditionally. It's all about appreciation!

To complete the super fun afternoon, Coke had booths set up where guests could have their own personalized Coca-Cola. :)

This is the part that I enjoyed the most, because obviously, you won't find an AVA or GERSH bottle in supermarkets. Our names are so unique or down right difficult!>_<; Haha! So, thank you so much, Coca-Cola Philippines and MRM for making it possible for me to have my and the Hubby's name done!:)

This is me showing my love and appreciation to the man in my life. To the man who never fails to put a smile on my face, who is a dedicated father to our kids, who always puts us first and who loves us endlessly. I am sharing a Coke with Gersh!

How about you? Who will you Share A Coke and Share happiness with?:)

The personalised  Coke packs are available in sari-sari stores, convenience stores, groceries, supermarkets and even vending machines nationwide. You may also drop by Share a Coke booths in supermarkets, malls and schools to have your own personalised Coca-Cola printed in an instant.

  5. I love this campaign by Coke, and so does my son. I don't let him drink cola often, he just likes reading the names on the cans and bottles. :)
