Thank God it's BBQ!

What is not to like about barbecues? Imagine premium cuts of meat drenched in your favorite sauces and cooked just the way you like them. They're bursting with flavor and with an aroma so enticing, they are guaranteed to satisfy even the hardest to please palate.

I myself, when it comes to flavors often lean on BBQ; whether it be chicken tenders with BBQ sauce or ribs cooked in BBQ style. I love the sweet sharp taste of it!

Last week, the blogger friends and I were able to experience the joy of biting into the succulent delights of TGIFridays' newest American BBQ selection. :)

We had our drinks and a few appetizers first while waiting for our American BBQ plates to come out. 

In case you're wondering what drinks are good at Fridays, I recommend the Strawberry Lemonade and Strawberry iced tea!:)

Starting our main course, we had the Spice Rub Roasted Chicken...

The crispy golden skin of the chicken and the juicy meat go perfectly with a medley of herbs and spices. This is served with a creamy side of cheddar cheese mashed potatoes and a special aioili sriracha sauce. 

Friday's Memphis Style Pork Belly...

Prepared and served exactly the way they do it in Memphis: dry rubbed, slow cooked and roasted using TGIFridays signature tangy sweet barbecue basting sauce. To better enjoy the tender meat, extra flavors are drawn out from a delicious barbecue dip then balanced with additional chedder cheese, then served with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob.

Next up is the BBQ Burger...

And what's a barbecue without the good old burger? It's not secret that TGIFridays has long been known for its amazing and innovative burgers. Fridays is building on their mastery in the art of burger-making with the BBQ Burger with a thick and juicy patty smothered with melted Colby cheese. The guilt in this burger is taken to the next level with crispy Cajun-battered onion rings best enjoyed with Fridays signature BBQ sauce.

And finally, those who love seafood know that prawns are scrumptious when grilled. Presenting, Cilantro Lime Grilled Prawns...

Friday's took plump shrimps, slid them into skewers for fire-grilling, drizzled with zesty pico de gallo sauce and served with ripe mango on top of steaming hot rice pilaf. This will satisfy even the pickiest palate.

To cap things off, we had some Oreo ice cream sandwich dessert that really hit the spot!

Now, don't all of these make you hungry?? I suggest you make a Sunday dinner trip to your nerest Fridays restaurant!:)

Grilling brings in an amazing depth of smoky flavor and character to anything that hits the flame. The natural sweetness, tang, distinctive flavor ooze with every bite, enough to make your tummy happy.

Friday's got it all plus a laid back casual atmosphere that is perfect for friends or families and great service with its "American BBQ" - all-American grilled items Filipino foodies will surely love. :)
