Seeing Chelsea's collection for the first time, it instantly reminded me of the 60s with the A line dresses and somewhat hippie style of dresses too. That's what attracted me the most. :)
Holding my favorite dress from the collection. :)
Aside from viewing the collection, we also got a little briefing on what the Autumn/Winter 2015 Chelsea fashion is all about.
The first collection is Neo Victorian and Edwardian inspired....
"Tastefully dainty, sophisticated yet fun and modern." - This is how Chelsea's founder and designer Kimberly Tugade describes her brand. Founded on the premise of making it easier for women to look effortlessly stylish and chic. Chelsea is famed for pieces that allow women to go from work to play without looking over or underdressed.
"The idea is to come up with clothes that are trendy, appropriate yet elegant and fun. When I was conceptualizing Chelsea, I had this idea of a brand that's very smart - one that offers functional clothes. In London, people dress the way they do become it allows them to go from one place to another without looking inappropriate - they can go from a pub to a five star hotel and still look like they belong there. I want my clothes to function the same way. I want them to complement the lifestyle of modern women and be able to take them to more places without having to sacrifice style and comfort." -KIM TUGADE
The next one is inspired by printed wallpapers and we all know how big wallpapers were in the 60s and these have a vintage feel to them. :)
Super love the dress that Ryza Cenon is wearing here. :)
Envisioned to become a go-to destination for women seeking for quality clothes at the best price, Chelsea, since being made available in Asia through Zalora, has become a favorite among celebrities, stylists and fashion editors. It is well-loved for its style of breathing new life into classic dainty silhouettes with playful patterns and pops of various colors.
Would you believe that the highest price of Chelsea is only Php 900- Php 1,500? Nothing higher than that! Reasonable prices for shoppers who want good quality clothes. :)
And if you think that Chelsea is meant only for women at certain figures, think again. The brand offers clothes in a full size range and adjusts its silhouettes to flatter everyone.
Chelsea is the kind of brand that caters to the busy ones, the office girls, the working moms, those who hold highly-demanding positions and gives them the right to look and be a lady with grace, finesse and modern outlook. :)
Chelsea clothes are currently available in the Philippines through Zalora and all Wellworth Department Stores in Ayala Malls. Starting this December, it will also be available in Cebu through Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
