Star Wars: The force awakens at Skechers!

The much awaited Star Wars: The Force Awakens is officially showing in all cinemas here in Manila today - December 17! I'm sure a lot of you guys can't wait and hit the theaters! Or some of you may be already watching it for the second time around, because I heard there have already been early premieres since yesterday!:) Well, either way, I hope you guys are enjoying!

As for me, I am certainly enjoying all the Star Wars themed events that I've been attending lately and one of them is the newest collection of Skechers!



The global footwear company, Skechers, has traveled to a galaxy far, far away to produce an extensive collection of footwear featuring characters, vehicles, and designs inspired by the beloved Star Wars universe. The first phase of the collaboration has already launched this December 2015!

The first phase was launched today at the Skechers store in Glorietta 2. :)



The upcoming Star Wars co-branded collection will feature familiar characters like Chewbaacca, Yoda, Stormtroopers, and Darth Vader from the original and prequel trilogies at takeoff, as well as new fan favorites from upcoming content. Kids will be able to express their love for all things Star Wars by wearing sneakers and slip-ons, with a more constructed variety of quality materials dawning bright, iconic, and familiar designs from the realm of Sith and Jedi. For those who prefer the dark side, select styles will feature light-up effects that illuminate in every step.





Unfortunately, ladies, these are only for the kids and men. :( I know, I was heartbroken too upon hearing that. But good thing I have two boys! >_< Can't wait to get them a pair! 

Of course, it is a MUST to take photos with the Stormtrooper at the event. I think I have over 5 photos with them! =P
