When I would get out of the shower before, my main concern would be how fast the scent of my soap easily escapes my body. I have to resort to perfumes or colognes to make sure I have that fresh smell the whole day. I'm sure some of you also get the same problem. But now I found the solution! :)

I grew up with a single mother a.k.a. Super mom. Being in that situation means she had to be a mother and father combined. So, she had to entrust me to my grandparents while she worked abroad. Until this very day she still works as hard and I'm thankful for that. I'm also fortunate because she left me with two really good people - my Angkong and Ama.♥

Whether you're living in a tropical or arctic country, it is inevitable for our skin to turn dry. We are exposed everyday to bipolar weather, hot showers, air-conditioned rooms, to the heat and pollution during one's daily commute and through all this our skin is stripped off of its natural hydration and moisture.

They say a good pair of shoes takes you places and I couldn't agree more. When you have comfortable, and it won't hurt for it to be stylish - footwear, you can do a lot of things in life. :) I can say that ever since I switched to flats and sneakers, my shoe collection has grown along with the things I've been doing. But I'm not complaining! However, it is my first time to own a pair of Paez. :)

Growing up I have always been into bags that are fun and quirky. Especially if it was printed! There is just something about prints that really gets me! :) I love it and till now I'm still into bags that are colorful. So, it's no wonder I have bags like Kipling that embodies all the fun and playful designs that anyone would love. :)
Last week, bag lovers find a new home as the House of Kipling opens at SM Megamall. :)

If you're a mom of a boy or boys, I'm pretty sure you have tons of car toys in your home. Especially the brand from Mattel, Hot Wheels. You would at least two or dozens even! As for my kids, they have more! They just love match box type of cars so much that they can't help but get one whenever we're in toy stores. I myself have been hooked on cute designs of Hot Wheels, that we even discuss which kind to get or which looks cooler before paying at the cashier. Funny fact, despite having more than two dozen of toy cars, I still know which one they have or do not have by heart. :)

The heat is intense and this only means that summer is still ongoing and there have been a lot of happenings all around the metro and at the beaches! :) Music festivals are everywhere and it has just been so fun to shop for cute summer outfits lately! ^_^ I love all the colors and clothes!

The year I started making my own Havaianas was back in 2013 and I can't believe it's already been 3 years! I haven't missed any MYOH since then! It has been a much awaited event for me every single year and I look forward to the different themes they have for it. :)

Good values comes from teaching your kids at a very young age. No matter how young they seem to be, they actually understand you. Even if your child is 1, 2 or 3 years old, we should constantly teach them to be good citizens and take care of our surroundings. So, even if Asher is just 3 years old, I want him to start early. :)

Thankfully, there is a brand like H&M who is conscious about these things and helps our kids understand more. :)

A mother's job is never done and it is considered as the hardest job on earth, because you practically do it for free and out of pure love. I'm sure all Moms out there would agree with me that motherhood may be tough, but it is also rewarding. :) But there are just days when we all need a break and a little 'ME' time. So, it's so fortunate that there are nail salons like Posh Nails who know how to give love and pamper Mommas like me! ^_^

Once in my life I was able to do a 5km run with my husband and it was during that time I struggled so much, because I'm really not a runner. But we did have fun and hoping to do it again soon! Judging my experience, it was my first time to try it and it wasn't easy! You need to have the stamina and a good pair of running shoes. I could say I had a good pair back then, but didn't know that there was something so much better out there!

The weekend is here and it is SO hot! The heat is just intense and there are times that I just want to give up going out and stay beside our air conditioner the whole day. Being a mother of two boys, I still always wish for a girl because of all the cute clothes around. Every where I look there are clothes that I covet and would want my future baby girl to wear! :) Though, I won't deny that the fashion for boys has greatly improved since my childhood days and I'm glad that I have more options for my kids!
Now, Zippy an apparel retailer from Portugal has come out with their Spring-Summer 2016 collection this April and I've got my eye on a lot of cute outfits!

When it comes to physical beauty, I don't think there is anyone in the world who doesn't want to have fair and clear skin. We all want to achieve that certain glow that makes us more confident. But of course, it's not always that we have good and healthy skin. We all have instances of acne, dark spots and excessive oil. It can be puberty, hormones or the really bad weather we're having. It's so hot lately! Just last night it was 31 degrees, but it felt like 38! I bet it will be even hotter today!
So, during these times that our skin gets unbearable and unmanageable, it's always good to have certain products to rely on to make your skin feel happier. :)

Growing up as an only child my best friend was the TV and VHS. For the young ones, I bet some wouldn't know what a VHS is. It's actually a Video Home System. Similar to the DVDS now, but they were in tape form and without a rewinder, you are pretty much doomed. Kidding! =P Also, I'm pretty much revealing my age! Anyhow, my mom would fondly buy me a lot of Disney tapes back then and being a kid, I would watch them endlessly! One of my favorites was The Lion King. A classic that no kid in the 90s would forget. :)
Now, it has been more than a decade since the first time I saw and now my kids have their own version - The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar!

My birthday is coming up in just 13 days! I can't believe I'm turning 27 soon! >_< Not my favorite number, but I also can't believe that at 27, I'll be a mom to a soon-to-be 8 year old and extremely hyper 3 year old. Not to mention, married and graduating college. That's the shocker! Haha! I expected to finish college at age 23. But a lot of things happened and it mostly involved having kids a.k.a. life happened! I'm thankful though cos people have been very supportive and I don't think i'll get this far without them. Special shoutout to my Lola for always caring for the kids when I need to go out or study, My Mom who endlessly supports my education. It has been a long journey, but I'm finally nearing the end, Mom! This is for you. And lastly, my husband for always being there and helping me surpass the tough and pessimistic moments in my life. :)
27 may be young or old for some, but for me, it's a good age. I've achieved things that I never thought I would. :) In general, life is good. Thank God for that. ^_^

Anyhoo, this is suppose to be a Birthday Wish List! I'm getting carried away and it's slowly turning into an actual Birthday post already! I need to save that for my birthday itself! Haha!

I am definitely on TEAM SUPERMAN! Ever since Christopher Reeves, I have always dreamed of being Lois Lane! Haha! And all the more when I saw Henry Cavill! ♥♥ Oh my! He's like my favorite Superman to date! ^_^
But according to my husband, he likes Batman better! Paano na yan?? Haha! I think he's just jealous of my little crush on Superman! ;) I kid! Haha! He's really a Batman fan and when couples like us have different views, it's good to know that we have Penshoppe to turn to!

Would you believe that 20% of parents have forgotten their child's birthday? This hasn't happened to me yet, but the number is as high as 36% in other Southeast Asian countries. Right here in the Philippines, we have 1 in 2 parents admitting that they have fallen asleep while reading their kids a bedtime story. Again, this has not happened to me. However, I did fall asleep while reviewing Athan for his exam one time! >_< My bad!
