The Christmas season is the wonderful time of giving and truly, nothing makes me happier than seeing my loved ones happy with the gifts I give them or whatever I can share with friends or others. :) But while gift giving undoubtedly brings us happiness, sometimes it brings a few headaches too...
"What do I get my family this Christmas that I haven't already given them before?" or "Where do I get a nice gift for my best friends?" It can get tough and makes you wish that you can rely on one place to get all your gifts and end your gift-giving woes.

My first experience with Owndays was November of last year >>CLICK HERE<<< and to be honest, I still think they are one of the best optical shops in the market now and I've never been happy to see them branch out in so many malls cos it makes them even more accessible. :) Aside from branching out, they've recently opened their biggest shop a.k.a. their flagship at SM Megamall! ^_^

Being a 90s kid, you can be sure that I grew up with all the awesome toys that the generation offered and one particular toy was my ultimate my favorite - BARBIE! :) I'm sure almost all girls had the same love for her as me. I remember having two cases for my Barbie needs; one for her clothes & shoes and the other for her kitchen or house essentials. I always brought those two cases with me when I came with my mom to work and I would be entertained the whole day just by playing with my Barbie. Those were the good old days!
Until now, I still love Barbie as an adult and I'm so happy that they've recently collaborated with Plains & Prints for a collection.♥

Every single time that I pass by the LUSH store inside the mall, I am reminded of a few things and one of them is my Mom. The strong scent of their products trigger memories of Christmas and how I would often give her favorite soap 'karma' as a present. :) It's her ultimate favorite!
Another thing that I am reminded about LUSH is how eye-catching their products are and they're not just that, but they're also so many other things - cruelty free, promotes ethical buying, handmade, 100% vegetarian and recyclable packaging.♥
I'm sure a lot of you love these about them too and you're gonna love them even more as they've come up with more ways promote zero waste and the cutest Christmas products this holiday season!

To be at their most comfortable and happiest is what I always want for my children and believe it or not, that has a lot to do with what they wear. When they're not comfortable, it automatically makes them unhappy or uneasy and that translates to other things fast. It can affect their mood, playtime or even learning. I personally get bothered when my clothes are itchy or don't fit right.
UNIQLO is a brand that always designs functional, high-quality clothes that keep all our bodies able and mind at ease. Which is why, they are one of my favorite brands for me and my kids. :)

We live in a world that more often than not, being different gets a lot of unwanted attention and some people voice out that being out of the ordinary isn't a good thing and they even get bullied for it. This has always plagued my mind. WHY? Being different should be celebrated and know that it is a great thing! We are all unique and we should embrace that. Don't let another person tell you otherwise. Especially if it makes you happy. :)
Just like my good friend Ana and I. We differ in a lot of things, but at the same time, we also have plenty of things in common. We choose to see the beautiful things in what makes us different.♥

Whenever long holidays strike, birthdays or you just want to take a break, it's always good to have a quick getaway or what some fondly call a 'staycation'. :) It's the perfect breather from all the hustle and bustle of our busy lives and a nice way to unwind and bond with your family. :)
A home away from home is what I love to call all our hotel stays and a few weeks ago, we had an overnight stay at The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel, an urban retreat place located right at the heart of Ortigas. :) The hotel is managed by Hospitality Innovators Inc. a.k.a. HII, one of the leading hotel and property management companies in the Philippines. Another popular hotel of theirs is Picasso Boutique in Makati City.

It's that time of the year again where everyone gets excited to be their favorite characters through their cool costumes and it is also the occasion that my kids get so hyped up for. :) We usually spend Halloween at my husband's office, but ever since he transferred work at the end of 2016, it was our last time to spend trick or treating there.
This Halloween 2017, we spent it at Shangri-la Plaza mall for the first time! :)
