Breakfast is the most important meal of the day - that's what my mom would continue to point out to me growing up and until this very day. She's always made sure that I ate right and that included having dairy in my diet, whether it be milk, cheese, yogurt, she taught me the importance of it.

Spending Holy Week has always been the same for my family and I. We would do our yearly procession, church visits and come Easter Sunday, we would stay at home or take the boys egg hunting somewhere. :) This year, we got to spend it a bit grander thanks to Linden Suites Hotel.♥
Staying at Linden Suites Hotel is not something new to my husband and I, because we already stayed with them back in 2010 for our third year anniversary. We had a wonderful during that time, but of course its been years since our last visit, so there were new things to expect and we had the boys with us, which made it more fun! ^_^

It's almost time yet again for our kids to head back to school and if you're starting to feel a tinge of panic in your system cos of all the preparations that need to be done along with your already busy schedule as a mom, don't worry too much about it. :) As a parent of two, who are both already in school, I understand the feeling of having too many things to think about or to do. So, to help reduce your worries, stress and even help you save money along the way, i'll be sharing with you back-to-school shopping tips that I learned in the years that I've been doing for my kids. ^_^
Back-to-school shopping has always been a favorite of mine and a breeze to do and it's all because I know where to shop for all our needs. :) Where else to go, but National Bookstore!

SM BEAUTY PLAYGROUND
I am a late bloomer when it comes to anything related to beauty, which is the main reason why I'm still trying to get the hang of putting makeup on my own. But when I got introduced to skincare products, that's when I totally fell in love and wanted to get more involved with beauty stuff! :) Especially now that I have the perfect place to discover, experience and play with the widest range of beauty products - my kind of playground, the SM Beauty Store! ^_^
The SM Beauty Store is no longer new to us cos they carry almost all the best-loved beauty brands in their store! Which is one of the reasons why I love shopping for all my needs there!

It's that time of the year again where we start to prepare for back-to-school! Whether you're a mom or student, we are all faced with preparations for the new school year and all of us use this as a fresh start or clean slate! This goes also for our school materials and what we wear. :)

I think out of all the places that Ana and I visited in Taiwan, these two are the most asked about and I don't doubt why! It's absolutely gorgeous and I'm glad despite the booboos, we succeeded in finding and enjoying both locations. :)
I just want to clarify that we got lost and had difficulty in finding these places, so I will really try my very best to enumerate how to get there. Bear with me!

If you read my Taiwan Day 1 post, you would have seen that I posted about things to do around Taipei 101 Station, but the ATT 4 FUN mall is just one of those things cos if walk a few kilometers or ride a taxi, you would spot the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Mall nearby. :) It's another mall that you can find within Taipei 101 Station and I think this is also a great place for fellow millennials who like the trendiest things or cute stuff!
For some reason when I try to Google the exact distance of ATT 4 FUN to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, it seems quite far, like you would have to taxi it or something. But, we were able to walk it.. masipag lang ata kami! Haha!

Growing up as a kid in Taiwan wasn't any different for me in the Philippines. My days were spent mostly in the city and it was rare that I get to explore provinces or take road trips. But that was alright cos I am a city girl by heart and Taipei has so much to offer. Though from time to time, I would love to do something out of the ordinary. So, going back after all these years, I wanted to do something different and it was perfect cos my blogger bestie Ana felt the same way too! ^_^ I'm glad we're always on the same radar when it comes to interests!
For our day two in Taiwan, we decided to do Yehliu Geopark and Jiufen!

The summer season has been incredibly hot since it began and when 36 degrees feels like 40, there are times that I wish I could walk around with an inflatable pool around my waist to keep cool. But of course, that's not possible and I would get stared at for being unreasonably silly, so plan B would be the best solution - head to Inflatable Island!♥

After settling at our house in Taipei, day 1 was considered a pretty chill day for Ana and I since we arrived in the afternoon. But of course, no day should go to waste and we used up the beginning of our Taiwan adventure and visited one of the most popular tourist spots that you can easily find in the city - Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall! :)
