Being a member of the Netflix Stream Team has made me and family enjoy a lot of perks. They always make sure we get first dibs on knowing what shows will come out soon, they often send out awesome surprises to our house and recently, they invited us to experience this year's Netflix AsiaPOP Comicon fun! ^_^
My husband and I are frequent goers of AsiaPOP Comicon and it was last year that we started bringing our kids to enjoy pop culture and it was also the time that I encountered the Netflix booths and it was my favorite part! I wasn't part of the Netflix Stream Team back then, so main reason why this year is just SO. MUCH. MORE. EXCITING! :)

AsiaPOP Comicon happened last July 27 to 29 at the SMX Convention Center and I was able to go on July 28 and 29 thanks to my Netflix family! :)

When it comes to watching shows or movies on Netflix, I would say that my husband is mainly the one who introduces anime to me. But for the first time ever, I watched something that he hasn't introduced to me yet and I actually super loved it! It's none other than, Castlevania! :) My husband is familiar with it too cos it started out as a video game and he got surprised that it now has a series. :) Hah! Glad I'm the one introducing anime series to him now! ♥ ;) *Pats self* ^_^
With that, I was just oh so thrilled that I got invited to listen in to the NETFLIX♥ANIME panel talk that involved Adi Shankar (Castlevania, Co-showrunner) and Takashi Yoshizawa (Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, TOHO-Producer) - you should also watch this if you're a fan of Godzilla: Planet of Monsters!
 I loved what Adi Shankar said that being nerdy or loving pop culture is a cool thing now. ^_^ Absolutely true! 
After listening to their talk, I honestly got more interested in watching more and it's amazing how anime now is for anyone! There are cartoons for young children and then there are also for adults! Netflix covers all bases! :)
If you're impatient like me and want to know when to expect your favorite shows, I am happy to report that Castlevania Season 2 is making it's comeback on October 26, 2018 and with 8 episodes! Yey!!



Oh and everyone's favorite death metal panda Aggretsuko will also return with Season 2 in 2019!! Watch out for it! ;)
After the anime panel discussion, I was also able to see Marvel's Luke Cage and Iron Fist! ^_^




I even got to have my poster signed by Mike Colter a.k.a. Luke Cage, Mustafa Shakir (Bushmaster) and Cheo Hodari Coker (Creator, Showrunner). :)

On the last day of Netflix AsiaPOP Comicon, we got to enjoy it with the whole Netflix Stream Team family and fun part is, we got to immerse ourselves at the Netflix booth! My most favorite part!
First order of business on our second day was to do a Meet & Greet with Adi Shankar! ^_^ You can just imagine how exciting this was for us and if you don't believe me, just look at my husband's face haha! =P Adi Shankar was so friendly and cool! The husband and I really can't wait for Season 2 of Castlevania! Counting down the months!
Next up, we finally had a Netflix Stream Team family tour of the Netflix booth and it was really cool, because we got the chance to enjoy each installation for ourselves and get great photos!










Started up in China Town where Marvel's Iron Fist is set up. The kiddos even got their first tattoo...sigh.. they grow up so fast! Haha! =P My son Athan has so much love for Netflix!

Viewers will be whisked away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools.
