I'm sure a lot of you have already seen bloggers like, Nicole Santos, David Guison, Paul Jatayna and more with this Primitive Revival collaboration. They did such an amazing job at incorporating Igorot pieces into their style. Kudos!:) Today, I myself joined this awesome project by Aivan Magno and I feel really honored to be part of this. In this modern age, with all the foreign cultures around we often forget our Filipino roots and honestly I myself am guilty of that. So, when Aivan opened up this to me, without second thoughts I accepted it and got excited to join. I want to spread the fact that we should love our own because they truly are beautiful.

The vest and bag are all handwoven products by the Igorot-Ifugao people and came all the way from Baguio. I was surprised by how wearable they are and how they made my outfit standout. I'd wear them everyday if I could! Wishing I could keep them too haha! That's how much I adore them. :)

I salute, Aivan for coming up with this project. Just goes to show how we should love our own because we can actually make something amazing out of it. :)
