There are a lot of international brands bringing in their stuff here in the Philippines and sometimes we tend to look on those often. But let us not forget that our very own local goods are also as amazing as any international brand.

My favorites brands just keep coming here in Manila and I couldn't be any happier! One of those brands is none other than ROOTOTE!♥ From Tokyo to Manila, the famous Japanese brand iconic for multi-functional totes and backpacks has landed its first branch at The Block in SM North Edsa. :)

Being a mom of two, I've gone through a couple of diaper bags or mommy bags in the span of 9 years. I have never really found the "perfect" one. It's either they look too much for a baby or totally not my style to tote around. But now, gone are the days when baby bags look dull, because Ju-Ju-Be has the cutest ones you'll ever find! ^_^

There was a point in my life wherein I thought that I fully gave up on backpacks or my love for them just wasn't as big as it was when I was in high school. But the moment I saw Anello online, it was love at first sight! I fell in love with backpacks all over again and the whole design of Anello is just perfect for a girl like me who prefers carrying her bag in two ways! ^_^
When Anello was starting to trend here in the Philippines, there wasn't much stores offering them and the colors or designs were too limited. But now, Anello is officially in Manila!! :)

To the 80s and 90s kids, who doesn't know the iconic game of Namco called Pac-Man? That mighty chomper of biscuit dots and escaper of ghosts is definitely a game that isn't forgotten until this very day. I even see it in a modern version at our arcades now. :)
Now, it's even hitting the streets in the retro cool backpacks of Outdoor Products!

When it comes to durability, reliability and the perfect everyday bag, I would always consider Kipling. I have 3 Kipling bags and I've had them for quite a while now and they're all still in perfect condition even if I use them so often. :) The quality is just superb and it doesn't hurt that the designs are functional and stylish!
Did you know Kipling is almost celebrating their 30th birthday? Even if they have been in market for so long, they still continue to innovate and make their bags the best. :)
And speaking of the best, Kipling has recently partnered with Alexandra Levasseur for their newest collection!

Since I'm not really the type of girl who wears so much accessories, I always make sure that I have really cute bags. I let it somehow speak for my outfit. Having a cute, fun and functional bag is important to me and thankfully ever since Bratpack opened their stores, it has not been difficult to find those kinds of bags! :)
Creativity is when you bring something new to life. Something you had just imagined but is now translated into something tangible. It is a way of living where you constantly pursue uniqueness and originality. Being creative expands our horizons and cultivates our overall being.

Growing up I have always been into bags that are fun and quirky. Especially if it was printed! There is just something about prints that really gets me! :) I love it and till now I'm still into bags that are colorful. So, it's no wonder I have bags like Kipling that embodies all the fun and playful designs that anyone would love. :)
Last week, bag lovers find a new home as the House of Kipling opens at SM Megamall. :)

The Bucket Bag has been a big trend for years, but it comes and goes. This year it's making a comeback again and the brand Mansur Gavriel by Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel is making a big splash in the fashion scene and it has been all over magazines, Instagram and Pinterest ( I would know cos I pin it a lot =P). Though this bag is a bit hard to come by, because a.) It's always SOLD OUT b.) It's a New York Based Design Label (though sometimes you can find it at online stores) and c.) It's a bit pricey.

So, given the choices above and if you're on the lookout for a Mansur Gavriel and will just have to wait like me, I've come up with some bucket bags that is Mansur Gavriel inspired and other designs that might catch your fancy. :)

Being a woman on the go and a mom of two isn't an easy job. There are times when I would have to go on errands with both my kids and of course, I simply cannot just leave the house with my essentials in my bag. I would have to pack up my kids stuff as well. Imagine I would tote around with me 2-3 bags. That's not really ideal for me. Especially on Fridays when our car is coding and can't accommodate too many things on my arms, since I do have to still carry my youngest one.
Luckily, I have already resolved this issue and just with a simple bag that I discovered. :)

If you remember my OOTD last week, you would have already seen my Vovarova bag. I mentioned there that I have found a new go-to bag, because it's the perfect size for all of my things. This Spring 2014 season, Herschel Supply ventures west towards islands balancing on the horizon for a hit of fresh sea air. The latest collection carries the spirit of sun-soaked, lazy beach days and is designed in varying styles to cover journey's long, short, far or near.
Having able to effortlessly mis form and function with its stylish and youthful line of bags, Herschel has come out with yet another fun collection that is perfect not just for one's upcoming summer outings.

Aside from the usual adult Herschel Supply, they now have the new Kids collection that features a progressive line of seasonal mash-up prints exclusively featured across three silhouettes.

Color-blocking and kid safe plastic zippers have been downsized, while minting the same fine regard for detail as the full size silhouettes. Available in Kids and slightly larger Youth bags, Herschel Supply's Kids collection provides a fun choice in a small package.
