Watched Mango's FW'11 fashion show last Wednesday night at The Plaza, Resorts World. I was excited for this because Mango hasn't done much runway shows here and it has been my favorite clothing brand since high school, so I was looking forward to it. :)

Had a good view of the models as I was really close to the ramp. (feeling press haha!) The collection was full of layering, animal prints and you can definitely feel the luxe grunge of the outfits. Really love it!

And like in many events, bloggers also use this as an opportunity to meet and bond with each other. Am I right or am I right??=D

It was also nice to see the different takes on Luxe Grunge by my fellow bloggers at the themed event. We all looked forward to seeing this!:) Here are some bloggers sporting their grunge look...

First off, sorry for the lack of updates and absences in the blogging world. PLDT has been such an awful DSL provider and after calling them several times they still haven't heed to our complaint. BV much? Anyhoo, thanks to SmartBro I can blog a bit for now. Yey to that!:)

I guess a few of you already noticed that some of my blogger friends, including me now have been wondering about this "LUXE GRUNGE" fashion. Frankly, we're a bit puzzled and we feel like fashion students trying to figure out how to pull it off. =P We even googled and researched it for the sake of not making a mistake on the day itself. Haha! Challenging but fun! I love it. Can't wait to see what the friends will be wearing and how we'll rock, Luxe Grunge this Wednesday. Good luck to us, Ladies!!!

Went to the launch of Smart's new netphone last night at Republiq and it was a really fun night. They gave away a lot of phones, free trips to Taiwan, USA and Hong Kong, people doing the dougie dance, star studded and a chance to hangout with my fellow bloggers once again. :)

Went to the launch of #SMARTNETPHONE tonight at Republiq, Resorts World. The phone has nice features in terms of being online all the time, but I won't spill much of it here. Wait for my entry about it!:)

So, the dress code was smart casual, but I normally don't follow dress codes anymore when it comes to events. I try to dress in what I feel good in. But of course I won't appear in PJ's or slippers!=P

The top I wore is actually a really old one already. Its been with me I think ever since high school, but you don't see me wearing it that much cos of the flashy sequins. I don't think they work well with as an everyday clothing, so I waited for the perfect chance to wear it again and what better timing than tonight.  I also thought it would look great with grey, so I wore my trousers from Oxygen. :)

Oh oh! I tried wearing contacts again today! As you can see in my photos, I'm not holding my glasses while posing. Haha! I was expecting my eyes to fail me since the last time I wore my old pair, I ended up with a red left eye. But luckily a few weeks ago, Val of Aigoo Shoppe sent me my very first pair of colored contacts!!:) I was hesitant at first because I didn't know when I could wear contacts again, but I gave it another go tonight and it didn't fail me!^_^ I am so happy I lasted all night with them. 

I'm not quite sure if they're grey or something else, but I love them!:) My priority when it comes to contacts is comfort and I'm very much pleased that the pair from Aigoo Shoppe, which is GEO, didn't even make my eyes swell up. Plus, Val was nice enough to get me contacts with my own prescribed eye grade. Sweet! If you're into colored contacts then you can check her shop out! She's very nice too!;)
