The baby is coming in about 4 months and I remember the hubby and I talking about what bottles to get and how many we need, because of course the ones that Athan used before have gotten old and it wouldn't be right if the baby uses it, but we haven't given it really much thought yet. That's why when we got home last week from our family day and saw a really sweet surprise from ARC PR, our heart just melted. ^_^

How awesome can they be?? These are so perfect once the baby comes out! We have four new bottles from KINDERCARE. They're 100% BPA-free and they use Liquid Silicone Nipples (LSR). What is LSR? It's actually better than Solid Silicone, because for years, LSR has been highly-touted for better biocompatibility, as compared to high consistency silicone rubber (HCR). Biocompatibility refers to the degree to which substance is considered to have acceptable interactions with living organisms; products with high biocompatibility have smaller likelihood of having harmful side effects on people. In addition, LSR has been noted to be more durable than HCR in certain situations, making it less likely to break down through the wear and tear of bottle-feeding.

So, if you want the best for your baby, you can take into consideration LSR and BPA-free bottles, like KinderCare. :)

Aside from KinderCare products, I also got WHITE GARMENTS-Beginnings. :) They provided me with white tops, pajamas and a towel for my little boy. :) Why white? Well, for one it's easier to spot stains and dirt, easier to detect insects and it's clean and cool to baby's skin. They also say that white is preferred by pediatricians for newborns, because we have to consider the material of our babies' clothes due to their sensitive skin. It has to be breathable, comfortable and chemical-free. :)

Our new little boy will surely be happy with all the new things that's gonna welcome him when he comes out, but his big brother Athan also has something to be excited about, because he got these as well from ARC PR...

Believe it or not, ever since I got pregnant with our second baby, I haven't been in the mood to dress up, do my own nails (avid fan here), let down my hair or just fix myself in general. I feel like I've been neglecting my pampering needs and I think that's a bad thing. I don't wanna look like a total pregnant woman in jeopardy! Like I mentioned before, I still wanna somehow look young, fresh... in short, a happy momma!:)

So after almost 4 months of no pampering whatsoever, I decided to give my hands and feet some love, so I tried out ORGANIC RITUALS SPA over at Greenhills!

It's actually my first time to hear about their spa, because I don't often hangout in Greenhills, because it's quite far from us. But seeing the interior of the place and the friendly staff already made me feel at home and relaxed. Those two alone got me excited to see the services that they have to offer. :)

So what do they have? Here's a glimpse of what you can expect when you visit or if you're just curious...

First is their "SPA PARTY" promo. If you have a birthday celebration or any occasion that you wish to spend differently, then you can try it out! They 3 promos to offer and they're all inclusive of themed spa food and souvenir gifts for 10 persons. How unique and awesome is that, right?:) I would certainly love to attend or even hold a "SPARTY" with my girls!

However, if you just want to relax and have some "ME" time, then you can try out the following...

LONG WEAR MANICURE (PHP 200)- Bring out your earth-friendly side by trying this one-of-a kind manicure without getting your hands soaked. Have your nails cleaned and polished just the way you wanted.

Before I go on with the services that my Mom, Aunt and I tried out, I wanna share the main product that Organic Rituals Spa has and that is their ZOYA NAIL POLISH and ZOYA NAIL CARE TREATMENTS.

If my memory serves me right, some nail lacquer have harmful chemicals for the baby, like when you apply it and breathe in the smell. That's why when I heard that Zoya (it's Formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl pthalate free! ) is safe to use for pregnant women, it got me more interested to have my nails done. I would get pampered and not have to worry about my baby's health. :) Oh and so far, Organic Rituals is the only mani-pedi place that I've been to that carries Zoya. :)

Aside from their Zoya products, they also have Pinoy Biggest Loser's resident nutritionist-chef, Nadine Tengco.

I believe she does detox. :)

Finally, to the services we had!

Since I can't have the massage treatments, I opted for their "Rescued feet" and mani-pedi services. :) Verdict? I loved every bit of it! Ms. Irene and Aster (the ladies doing my nails) had really light hands. I didn't feel any pain at all. Plus, they seemed relax while doing it as well. You wouldn't see too much effort in their faces or hands, but they did a job-well-done!

Hello, mom!

My Mom and aunt also had the "Rescued feet" service and they also had the same verdict. Only, they both got to experience the massage and told me that it was really relaxing and they would definitely want to go back for more. :) And true enough, our feet have been rescued, because it now feels as soft as a baby's bum and no longer rough. :)

Oh and did I mention, for two hours that we stayed there, Athan just had fun playing at their spacious spa and eating yummy biscuits?

All in all, I give Organic Rituals Spa, two thumbs up! I enjoyed my stay and I can't wait until they finally transfer to A. Venue, Makati. Much closer to our place and Athan's school!:) More mani-pedi time!!

Its been awhile since I last did this because of Instagram. I can't help but immediately take a photo and upload it there. =P But I kind of miss blogging about the sweet sponsors/friends that have been sending me all the nice stuff in my mail. :)
