Yesterday the family and I headed over to The World Trade Center to attend the yearly food show, MAFBEX 2011. Going there I already expected to see food and more food!:)

There were a lot of food stalls and I could definitely hear my tummy telling me to head in all directions if I could. =P If I'm trying to restrict myself from shopping, sorry to say, but I can't help myself from eating!:)) Got SO addicted to milk tea too!!

Happy I got to spend this feast-filled day with my hubby. The more the merrier!

The also had these cute fondant cakes (excluding the last one). I think they were made by HRIM students themselves. Amazing. :)

Aside from food, they also showcased some machinery, if your business is interested in faster packaging and more. They sold pots, pans, food magazines and anything almost related to cooking.

The Flair competition was the show that most people kept their eyes on. Students from different HRIM schools came to show their awesome bartender skills. I was in awe every time they threw multiply bottles in the air and still be able to catch all of it.

They have table arrangements too, so if anyone out there wants to get married or any occasion that needs  elegant touches, just go to MAFBEX. Today's the last day! 10AM-8PM!

Later that night, the family and I went to MoA to have our Fathers Day celebration at Burgoo. Then Gong Cha! I loved it, btw! A tad expensive for milk tea, but will definitely go back. 

LOL at the doodles!=P We got bored while waiting for the food. Haha!

I guess it's obvious to say that all we did yesterday was eat!:) Good times!

HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL THE AWESOME DADS OUT THERE!!!

Wore this dress before already, but its been a long time since I wore it, so gave it a try again. This baby doll dress can go from everyday wear to something a little bit formal. I remember wearing it during the Kotex event, but with different shoes. My nude Parisian Jr. wedges gave up on me already, so it was perfect timing that Shop Dainty had these JC inspired platforms. Last Thursday, La Salle celebrated its 100 years of presence here in the Philippines and as a fellow La Sallian, I can help but join the festivities at DLSU-Manila with my friends!:)

All La Salle schools didn't have class, but unfortunately back at CSB, we do. :( Luckily, my professors were kind enough to give me a free cut, so I got to DLSU around 4PM to help Ana with her booth and I was overwhelmed with how much people were there!

From SJ Walk to Yuchengco. This made me wish I had a La Salle shirt or at least the same shade of green. I'm such a loser. :))

Ana's booth is always easy to handle when it comes to bazaars. People never seem to stop buying from her and I won't even doubt why. I myself love her Dream Catchers, Colored-Skull bracelets and John Lennon Shades!:)


I also got the chance to try BubbaTeaLicious' Royal Milk tea. I ordered the 700 ml, which is the biggest size and I love it so much! Currently craving!!O_o 

My friend, Beam also had her shop- ARTWINE at the bazaar. Spot her cute felt creations!

They were selling a lot of La Salle merchandise. I was really tempted to buy a shirt, but decided to just do that next time. :)

My centennial experience wouldn't have been complete without seeing friends old and new...

Finally got to meet, Nettie of Clothes Hair & Coffee! She's also from CSB!:)

My twin, Megann of Spell Megann! She's a dragon boat racer. Awesomsauce!! She's also the lady behind all my beautiful headers!

My best friend in high school, Clary! She came all the way from St. Paul just to join us. I missed her!

BLOG friends: Vern, Me and Ana!:) Love how Vern styled her La Salle shirt. Ripped!

Bazaaristas! It's never dull with these girls around. We can't stop talking. haha!:)) Make sure to visit their online store!

Of course, if I couldn't miss this event, so can't Gersh! He's a graduate of DLSU- Manila in Computer Engineer. I'm proud of that!^_^ I hope Athan becomes a La Sallian too!

Around 10PM, they started out flying out lanterns like in the movie, Tangled!:) Then it was followed by the awesome fireworks!






After the fireworks, we all sang with pride the La Sallian Anthem and cheered D-L-S-U! ( I was a bit shy with this, I was like to Gersh, "can I say CSB?? =P") -ANIMO-LA SALLE! You could really feel the school spirit and I'm glad I was able to celebrate with everyone. Despite the heat and loads of people, I enjoyed every minute of it. I love La Salle!!:)

To all the food connoisseur and lovers out there, it's that time again when the biggest food show of the year, MAFBEX 2011 is happening here in Manila.

This isn't my first time to attend MAFBEX. If I remember correctly, my Mom once took me to MAFBEX 2009 to see the famous international chef, Bobby Chinn. My mom has load of cook books, so no doubt I know a few stuff about cooking!:) I'm also proud to say that my fellow Benildeans in the SHRIM department are a part of this for years now and I can't wait to see them in action this week!^_^ 

I know I look skinny, but believe me, I love food so much and MAFBEX is definitely the place to be when you want to taste international flavors and make your tummy happy. :) 

So, don't miss out! MAFBEX 2011 is from JUNE 15-19, 2011 at WORLD TRADE CENTER. Hope to see you there tomorrow!;)
