This post is waaaaaay overdue and I feel really bad that I wasn't able to blog about it as soon as I wanted. :(  But, better late than never I guess!

I was invited by Mang Inasal and Thyz last August 1 at the Music Museum and T.E.A.T.R.I.N.O.  to join in their OPM festivities along with other bloggers. The place was packed with bloggers and I was glad to see familiar faces when I got there. :)

We were also served yummy food by none other than, Mang Inasal. :)

I'm not a huge fan of OPM, but I really did enjoy the artists that I heard that night. I didn't expect it to be funny either! Loving the OPM artist, ONSE!!! Super laugh trip!

They had a lot of singers that night and too bad I wasn't able to stay until it ended, because it was the same night as my grandma's birthday so I had to leave early. :( But it was sure a fun night! Cheers to Mang Inasal for supporting OPM!

Since I really can't keep up posting outfit posts all the time, I decided to create "Art Diaries." A segment on my blog where i'll be posting a few of my work/doodles. I haven't been doing art for quite awhile because of the course I'm in. It doesn't require much of that, so I figured to not lose my touch for art, i'll do this. After all, my blog name is ARTSY FARTSY AVA, right? 

I've gotten a couple of hate comments on my FS before regarding my art, so to clarify things, I know my art is not like Picasso, Henry Matisse and other modern artists out there and it can actually look like a grade schoolers art work, but all I can say to that is, it's mine. I did it and I'm happy with it. If you don't like seeing it, there's always the [x] button up there. :) 

Anyhoo, here's the first of my Art Diaries!

The weather these past few days has been so bipolar that I can't even predict what I should wear anymore. If I try to be in rain gear, it doesn't rain. It stays humid. But if I'm using a good pair of shoes, it practically pours. I realized I should just wear what I want and let it be!

And today when it rained like cats and dogs, I opted for a dress...

I normally choose not to do an outfit post at night, because the lightning isn't the best, but I had no choice today since the weather was really bad during day time. Plus, we attended an awesome kiddy party too, so I totally forgot. =P Will tell you more about it soon!

So, yeah. I was a bit hesitant to take pictures cos its night time, but fortunately while doing test shots I discovered the "Slow Synchro" flash on my camera (late bloomer) and I love love the outcome of my night OTD. Super like the effect of the last photo!! Hoping I could be less stiff and more lively in my shots.

I went a little girly on the colors but remained with my favorite oxfords and I think this somewhat reflected a modern peasant look. :)
