I bet by now everyone if not almost all school girls and even fashionistas are familiar when faced with this shop logo. It has been featured in Candy magazine and blogs(including this) plenty of times; ANAGON is one of the most popular online store here in Manila, because of its quirky, hippie, handmade with love, yet affordable accessories. It is the brainchild of none other than, Ms. Ana Gonzales. You pretty much know now where she got her store name. *hint hint* ;)
My first encounter with Ana's store was back in 2009, when I just recently discovered about online shopping. I was curious to see the commodities there that malls seldom offered and seeing Ana's works of art was love at first sight! I think her popular creation during that time was her wire accessories.....
Labor of love
She twist and bends the wires herself, which makes her a great seller. You can ask her to customize almost any accessory you can think of. You want clay, head wreaths, bookmarks, necklaces, rings, bracelets, etc. Name it and she'll make it! Plus, it's sure to be one-of-a-kind.
Over the years Anagon has evolved so much more and Ana certainly has her hands full keeping her clients happy and coming back for more. Even when sick, she STILL manages to squeeze work in (tsk..workaholic..rest!=p) Her clients range from students, working girls and even fashion savvy people who wear it to events. She has created wraps, fringe necklaces, chains, and more in her own little style...

Aside from her creations, Ana is the first seller I became really close with. She's not merely an entrepreneur when you meet her, but you also find a friend in her. She is incredibly nice, sweet and humble. That's why I'm still one of her suki. Also I really admire her dedication to Anagon. She could be a writer of a known magazine or newspaper by now, yet she stays with her store and countless clients. Now that is what I call love. More hippie vibe and success to ANAGON!
