Planner for 2011: My third place

by - January 06, 2011

After chugging down so much coffee with the help of my family, I finally now have Starbucks' planner for 2011 and in my color of choice!:) I started collecting the Starbucks planner last year, but unfortunately I didn't really like the design they came out with. For one, it wasn't ruled, second the spaces were narrow that I can barely write properly, and last, it looked really plain. Thankfully this year I got what I really wanted, all thanks to my Mom. She's very supportive with me collecting stickers!:)

I've started personalizing/decorating my planner little by little. I'm quite happy with my December page and I really can't wait to fill up my January!:) Btw, I'm quite sentimental when it comes to months or days. I get scraps like gift wrapper, receipt, stickers and the likes to keep as memoirs and stick them on specific dates in my planner. You'll know what I mean on the next photos. :)

See what I mean now?=p These are just two pages I filled up during December 31, 2010 and January 1, 2011.

I also like putting quotations or bible verses to inspire me when I'm down or feeling lost. Perks me up. :)

For me, this planner is my Third Place. Where my thoughts are mostly poured (aside from my blog, of course..=p) and where I jot down my inspirations. :) How about you, where or what is your Third place and did you get a planner for 2011?:)

  1. Wow. You are one good planner! I used to do this with mine. Strange habits we Miriam Students have inhereted from our planner from school. I used mostly colored pens and stuck movie tickets and receipts. Those were the days. Now I buy a planner and completely forget about it :))

  7. I like what you did to your planner! I have always been fascinated with perking things up but unfortunately, I lack the creativity. I love those Bible verses. I have Philippians 4:13 placed on the back of my i.d. hehe.

  10. Hey Ava! :) It's true, the Starbucks planner this year is indeed better than last year (which I got). I like that it's back to the horizontal layout again. But I wasn't able to keep up this year, too expensive.

I was actually a bit worried when January came. I panicked a little because I didn't have a planner. I found one know, it's a korean any-year planner with cute designs and it's a little compact, kinda like a passport which is cool coz it's easier for me to carry around.

Haha this comment is a little too long, I get to excited with cute little stationeries. :P I'll post a vlog entry about it soon. :D
