Discover your scent!

Following my grad pictorial yesterday, I rushed to Resorts World for The Art of Scent event, together with my blogger friends, Efril, Vern, Krissy, Ms. Kira, and Alex. :)




The place was like a museum for perfumes and the store smells really good! They have all the branded perfumes you can think of; Burberry, Bvlgari, Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Marc Jacobs, Givency, Vera Wang and more.


One thing I love about Art of Scent is, they're not like the typical perfume store you see in malls, where they bombard you with all the paper strips and spray you sometimes without permission. Art of Scent is a place where you can step in, scan at the different racks of perfume, and if you don't know which perfume to get, you can ask the scent experts in the store to help you. :) Nice, ya?

Ms. Celine and Jenny, told us that Art of Scent is different from other stores, because it is the country's first luxury stand-alone fragrance store. The store has a concept and that is to instill to the people a deeper appreciation in choosing the right scent for them and not solely choosing the fragrance because of the brand name. :)

Honestly, I find what they say true. Personally, I don't like scents that are too fruity or bursting with floral, because I find them too strong. So, if I rely on packaging or brand alone, I might end up not liking them and true enough, while I was attracted to the cute bottled ones at the store, the scent did not at all satisfy the smell I was looking for. The scents that attracted me the most was the one in simple looking packages. That's why, I think Art of Scent is truly awesome!

The event was short, but sweet and I learned something!:) Thank you again to Ms. Celine, Jenny and Art of Scent for inviting me! Can't wait to try my new scent. =D Till next time!

    i saw that store in resorts world.. kind of intimidating to enter so i didn't haha :P but i heard from other bloggers of the nice scents they carry! btw, elizabeth arden green tea is my personal fave perfume!! do you like it? :)
