Another month has passed and I officially said bye to my birth month - April! It's no question that it's one of my favorite time of the year because it's my birthday and the boys are officially done with their classes, so that's a reason for celebration! ^_^
For this year's April, it was also pretty eventful despite being at home most of the time and wanna share the reason why it was a good month.♥

I'm back again with life updates! Quarantine to be exact, because we all know that the numbers still aren't getting any better, sadly. It has been 7 months and Christmas is so near already and a part of me can't believe that this will be the first year that my family won't be complete during the holiday season. :( It's truly sad what COVID is doing to all of us around the world. Sigh... Stay healthy, everyone. That's all I can really say right now.
Anyhoo! For this blog, i'll be compiling a few things that the family and I have done last July to this October to keep sane this quarantine and how we're coping. :)

Plenty of time on my hands lately that I was able to watch a new Kdrama and actually stay up to date with it! It's the most watched now by most of the people I know and it's called 'A World of Married Couple'. The Hubby and I got so hooked on the story line! If you've seen it too, you know how every episode is so packed and it can make your blood curl haha! Given that it's probably my fave right now, I decided to recreate some looks of the lead character Ji Sun-Woo from my own closet! ^_^

Quarantine week 7? Am I correct? I honestly sometimes forget what day it is already and I'm sure you, guys feel me on this one too. >_< As of my last ECQ post, the lockdown began last March 15 and was supposedly to last until April 14. Then it got moved to April 30 and the most recent one is May 15. I really miss the outside world. But I have no problem with extension of the quarantine as long as we see progress and the death toll stops rising. :(
We've all been in quarantine for more than a month now and slowly, each of us is adjusting to our new normal or routine. It isn't easy - most of us deal with anxiety and stress. That's why I am all for doing things that give you good vibes or help you cope up with our present situation. So, you do you! May it be TikTok videos, reading self help quotes/books, binge watching Kdramas, cooking, sharing food on social media, or working out, do what makes you happy! ^_^
As for me, I've been doing most of the things I mentioned above and they've been fairly effective. :) Sharing with you, guys through this post, our life lately as a family in quarantine.

When it comes to traveling, doing errands and long walks, there is only one brand that comes to mind when you need both comfort and style - Skechers. :) It's what I always recommend to friends when they ask for what shoes to buy for their travels and personally it's what i've been using for years too!
A few weeks back, my family and I went on a road trip to Tagaytay to celebrate the new year ahead of us. :) I'm the designated driver in our household, so for this trip + the long drive, I had my Skechers GOWalk. :)

Being a 90s kid, you can be sure that I grew up with all the awesome toys that the generation offered and one particular toy was my ultimate my favorite - BARBIE! :) I'm sure almost all girls had the same love for her as me. I remember having two cases for my Barbie needs; one for her clothes & shoes and the other for her kitchen or house essentials. I always brought those two cases with me when I came with my mom to work and I would be entertained the whole day just by playing with my Barbie. Those were the good old days!
Until now, I still love Barbie as an adult and I'm so happy that they've recently collaborated with Plains & Prints for a collection.♥

When I started my life as a full-time blogger, my niche was fashion. It was where I could freely express myself in the form of my ensembles. It showed my personality and loved it! :) People were very welcoming and always supportive in my fashion blog. Which is why my love for clothes grew even more and until this very day, I still love dressing up and learned how to care for my garments, even though I am no longer a fashion blogger, but a lifestyle one. :) Sharing why FashionCare is important!

Comfort is always a big must for me when it comes to walking long hours or distances, but not all flats or sandals are comfortable when walking. Which is why I always make sure to invest on shoes that stylish and fits my active lifestyle.
Just last weekend, my family and I went on a little trip to the museum and malling after. It involved a lot of walking and carrying my toddler, so I made sure I wore my Body Shoe from Hush Puppies. :)

I haven't been uploading OOTDs on the blog for sometime now cos I've totally given up on the fact that I can do it consistently like I did before. I usually don't have much time anymore to take so many shots and Instagram has made it more convenient for me to easily show what I wore in just a snap. So, that's my reason!=P Haha! Not 100% the best reason, but will make up for it by showing a few of my recent OOTDs that I already posted on Instagram, but not on the blog. ^_^
This won't be according to order. Just how I remember why I wore that outfit and the details. :)

Family is such a strong word when it comes to Filipinos. There is a bond like no other, especially that the BER months are here, we all know how important gatherings are during the holidays. :) To celebrate the power family ties, Giordano launches the #WeAreFamily campaign compromising of different collections from September to December. Just a quick OOTD update!

No, I'm not addicted to anything illegal! But I do confess that I have been addicted to watching series on iFlix and Netflix. >_< I'm not much of a TV person, so I really didn't know that I have been missing so many awesome series! I want to watch everything, but it's kinda hazardous to my healthy, because I tend to binge-watch. Does that happen to you, guys too?

The weekend is here and it is SO hot! The heat is just intense and there are times that I just want to give up going out and stay beside our air conditioner the whole day. But of course, that wouldn't be so productive of me and Saturday is my favorite day of the week, so I wouldn't want it to get ruined. I wanna make the most out of it! :)

So, this is my first OOTD post for the year! Well, not officially when it comes to posting on Instagram! But for the blog, it is! :) I think i've already posted a total of three there? Including this. :) These weren't even well thought of shots, because the Hubby and I were waiting for our GrabCar and I suddenly thought, 'Why not take my OOTD right here, right now!' Just a random thought! Lol! =P
And I just noticed now, Hello AlDub! Haha! =P
So, what's new? Well, nothing aside from the usual. I've been busy with school, because of my major subjects, thesis and blogging events have started coming around again, and the calligraphy club that I teach. We're planning on doing an exhibit on March to benefit a charity, so my students and I are busy brainstorming! :) Excited for it!
Aside from that, I am ecstatic to announce that my blog will finally have a new look! ^_^ I'll be launching it either January 30 or February 1. Not sure yet. But after two years, I'm changing it! I love this current layout of mine so much that I decided not to change it since I launched it last February 14, 2013 (if I remember correctly?). My layouts are forever made by my twin Megann Jabola a.k.a. STYLE SURGERY. Not only do I love her creativity, but she's the only one I trust. :) Do check out her blog! She has an amazing content!
