Shih-Lin Night Market!

After 2 days of being down, blogger is finally up and running! I really missed blogging! My last entry was like 6 days ago?? Geez. :|

Anyway, I'm glad every thing's back to normal and I can share with you, guys my favorite shopping destination here in Taipei; Shih-Lin Night Market!:)



Shih-Lin Night Market is one of the many shopping districts that can be found here in Taiwan. There are lots more, but I think this is one of the biggest and If you're a nocturnal person like me then this place is perfect, because stores start to open around 6PM and goes on until 3 AM. Hence the term, "Night Market." ;)



Taiwan is slowly starting to have Korean items shipped in too and they're pretty affordable. The bags cost about NT$ 390- NT$ 780 in this store. I wanted to get the satchel, but Mom told me to pass, hi hi! Got something different instead. :)

What's nice about Shih-Lin Night Market is that they not only accommodate non-branded stuff, but they also have branded ones like, Skin Food, The Face Shop, and major shoe brands, like Nike, Adidas, Keds, Vans, etc. Sometimes you can even get them at a cheaper price and I assure you, they're not fake at all. :)



The first photo above is called, Fifty Percent and it sells clothes at half the price! I actually got a vest for NT$ 795 that was originally NT$ 1590. Really amazing! The line up of shoes are also being sold at a cheap price and you can't deny that they're really cute!




I remember someone asking me on Formspring last time to blog about awesome accessories that can be found here in Taiwan and I promised as soon as I go to the night market I would post, so here you go!:) Only a few, but these are the ones that caught my attention. :)


Aside from shopping, they also have various food stalls you can choose from. They're like street food, but with healthier options and yummy!:)

I'm not the only one who loves the night market.  Athan also fancies walking around and when he likes something he'll go, "Oooooh!" Silly kid. =P

Went home around 12:30 AM and I am definitely a happy bean thanks to my mom!:) I waited for almost a month for my birthday gift, but it was SOOOO worth it! Here's my Night Market loot...


I never miss out on going to Shih-Lin night market whenever I visit Taiwan. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it, because they always have something new. :) I suggest you add Shih-Lin Night Market to your "MUST TRAVEL/ GO-TO" list. I promise you won't regret it!:)
