Christmas at Kultura!

by - October 17, 2011

Last Wednesday I attended the press release of Kultura Filipino's Christmas and Crafts Market and pre-holiday bazaar courtesy of blogger friend, Denise Lunod of Simone's Fashion Closet. My Mom and I often go to Kultura when she's here so it wasn't unknown to me what Kultura sells or what they're about, so I got excited when I received an invite from Denise. I very much love how you can find unique and beautiful Philippine made items when you enter their store. Especially now that it's Christmas season, you'll definitely see a lot of handmade decor. :)

The event was held at the SM, Makati branch of Kultura and if you go there, you'll see that the store is divided into two parts and both side have Christmas decorations for people to see...

Saw this huge parol when I entered the right side of the store. Found it really pretty. I always wanted to have a parol at our house but I wouldn't know where we could put it. =P

A colorful and cute version of the Nativity of Jesus. :)

If the the items in Kultura wasn't enough, they also served us Filipino finger food and music. I believe one of the group was called Rondalia!

The crafts section has got to be my favorite out of all the stuff that Kultura sells. It supports livelihood projects, which help people and its handmade. You gotta liiiiiikkkkke handmade because it's made with LVE and they're really creative!

These are made out of different recycling materials, like plastic, soda pull-tabs, and cans! All these are pure genius! I'm a big fan of recycled things. Hoping to get a newspaper clutch someday. ;)

More stuff from Kultura...
