I got an email from David Guison two weeks ago regarding The Postura Project but I didn't have time to get around it. I actually thought that because I wasn't able to respond to the email, that I can no longer join in. But that isn't the case!:) If you wanna support Philippine fashion, just go for it, because, The Postura Project is all about wearing something Filipino made, everyday, for 30 days. It can be one thing, or two or even head to toe! This can be one way of showing how much we love our own craft/country and we're proud of it!
Now, to start off my Postura Project...
Thank you, Carizza Chua for this photo! |
top: mango | skirt: ensembles | shoes: australian | bag: nine west | necklace: fad district
I've been colorful for quite awhile, so I went back to my promise of trying out black clothes. :) For my something "Filipino-Made", I wore a black pencil skirt from Ensembles and a beautiful cascading necklace from local online store, Fad District. :) The nice thing about Fad's accessories is they make it and sometimes the pieces are only one per style, so you don't have to worry about having the same necklace with other girls while walking at the mall. Check them out! :)
This is what I wore to beauty brand, Mary Kay's-Botanical Effects product launch held at Greenbelt 5. I'll tell you more about that in my next entry!:)
For now, enjoy this new sound from Train called DRIVE BY! My new LSS and music inspiration for my OTD title. The beat and chorus is so catchy, I'm sure you'll love it! Perfect summer song!....
Oh I swear to you I'll be there for you This is not a drive by
