SM Kids’ Fashion Toon Fest 2013

*WARNING*: Photo heavy post here! Athan had so much fun at this event that I couldn't help but take so many photos of him. You must know how it is with Moms and taking pictures. Every memory has to be cherished! I'm sure you understand!=P

Last Friday, after Athan's Linggo ng Wika at school, we headed over to SM Megamall for the SM Kids' Fashion Toon Fest 2013 at Megatrade Hall 2 to explore the fun-filled trade show. We also made a little trip to Paris, London and New York through the iconic landmarks they had available there. It's like Athan's pretend fashion week. Heee!:)

These four different countries are the perfect theme for this year's celebration of SM Kids' Fashion Toon Fest, because not only do they represent the fashion capitals, but kids can play and also go on an excursion into their personal style. 

Paris is all about sophistication with its emphasis on elegant pants and dresses. Subtle details such as tiny white rosettes or a small beret distinguish Parisian garb. London is decidedly punk with studded leather jackets, plaid prints, and an attitude that dominates the conversation. Finally, New York draws on various graphic influences to shape its vibe. Brightly colored tees, cuffed trousers, and sleek outerwear capture the everyday outfit of the average New Yorker.

Because it's by SM Kids' Fashion, you'd initially think that the event is just all about clothes, but it's not! Athan and I enjoyed so much with all the picture taking and the activities that were presented to us.  They different booths such as Garfield, Betty Boop, Robby Rabbit, Disney, Sesame Street and more! Believe me, your kids will not be the only ones to enjoy this. :)

Athan went gigil for these! He kept saying "kuchi-kuchi-koo!!" hehe =P

Athan and I had a few booths that caught our attention and of course, became our favorite. :) Aside from that, I tried looking for clothes that would look for both Athan and Asher.

Oh and before I forget to mention, they also have mascots!^_^ How awesome, right? Your kids will surely love to interact and get photos with them. :)

We also got some sweet treats that day from Go Nuts Donuts and Brownies Unlimited. I swear, you should try GND's spreads and brownie chips from BU! They taste like Christmas in your mouth!

This amazing trade show is definitely a great activity for you and your family. I suggest you come and visit! It's only until today! It's at SM Megatrade Hall 2 5th Floor, SM Megamall Building B, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.  Don't forget!^_^
