Publiko Eat + Drink

Despite being a really thin girl, you'd be quite surprise on how much room my tummy has when it comes to food. So, don't let the frail-like figure fool you. I've always had the motto "Act like a lady, but  secretly eat like a guy". Haha!=P I can't help it. Eating is one of the best things to do in life. Agree? Agree!

Being a foodie, I like trying out different restaurants and one of the newest one I got to check out was Publiko Eat + Drink. It's the first and only gastropub in Eastwood City in Quezon City. This is made for people who live to drink, dine and have a good time. How can I resist?:) Definitely a yes for me!

The ambiance of the restaurant is perfect for me. I like the warm and laid back environment. It's a great place to bring friends you haven't seen in awhile or simply friends that you just want to have long conversations with and combined with absolutely good food. :) 

They also carry a good line-up of imported beers such as Hoeagaarden, Beck's, Stella Artois and Paulaner Munchen. These would go best with the food selection at Publiko for sure. Not that I drink beer, but for people who do, you'd enjoy this.

The awesome MENU

One of the things that caught my attention while I was looking at their menu was one, it was written on a huge chalk board! How creative, right? Ordering itself is already fun! Second is that the prices were quite pocket-friendly. Nothing seemed too pricey, was my first impression. I hoped though that the food was worth it, since I came all the way from Taft Manila just to try out their food.

I got really delectable, tasty, toothsome and all the other synonyms you can think of when it comes to saying GOOD food!:) It was so worth going all the way there just to eat! The price isn't bad at all too given that they have a hefty serving.

 I enjoyed my caesar salad very much! I can say that I'm a connoisseur when it comes to caesar salad, because it's my ultimate favourite salad. This was was so good! I loved that it had bacon bits (not the fake kind) and they even added some anchovies to it. That was new to me, but I loved it!:)

My Vongole was pretty good too. :) I cannot wait to try out their other pastas. Both servings were satisfying! I got so full after. But of course, there's still dessert!

The Bread and Butter Pudding is quite large. If you've already eaten a lot from the soups/salads and main dishes, I suggest that you at least share this with someone.

And if ever you get hooked or addicted on their food, you can blame Celebrity Chef, Carlo Miguel for creating such mouth-watering American style comfort food. Just by writing this, I'm already imaging the flavourful Caesar salad with anchovies. Oh my tummy…at 3AM in the morning. Sigh. -_-

They have so many dishes to choose from and I'm actually aiming to be back by next week. I hope I can…No, I must!

Aside from their warm and laid back environment, their chalk board set up also got me interested and laughing too. Just look at the funny lines that are written on it!:)) This is soooo for the boyfriends!

Since I cannot get enough of the food here at Publiko, I just had to get a little take out of Margherita for the boys and grandmother. :) They too like it! So, I shall bring them here with me soon!
