Growing up, did you ever encounter the Rainbow Brite characters? Well, they were born in the 80's, so if you don't know them I don't blame you. I was born in the last year of the 80's…1989 to be exact. But my Mom loved buying me books and Rainbow Brite was one of the memorable ones. I guess it has to be since I'm already 24 and I still remember a book that is more than a decade old. But isn't it great remembering the good old days?:) That's why this outfit is somewhat an inspiration of my childhood. :)
I really don't know what came over me when I chose this outfit. I just picked out what I thought would look good at my first day at the Holiday Bazaar. I didn't bother on what might others think about it; print on print and 3 different colours. It felt right and happy, so I wore it. :) I'd like to think it worked out pretty well. How about you?
That's why I think you should never be afraid to experiment on fashion. Have fun in mixing and matching. It doesn't always come out 100% perfect or awesome. But it's worth to be spontaneous and just simply have fun with it. :) Wear what you think is comfortable and soon you'll know what looks good on you. :)
My sisters remember rainbow brite but I don't. :( haha but we're the same age though, too bad I didnt enjoy reading or watching it back in my childhood. Anyway, I think the colors of your ootd went well together. :)
Been in the blogosphere for a decade and I love writing about fashion, beauty, motherhood, the arts and more. This is where you'll find things that make me happy. :)
