Tiendesitas reopens in time for holiday shopping!

Tiendesitas is known to be one of the most well-loved shopping and family entertainment destinations in Ortigas since 2005. The place has seven retail categories or "villages" as the fondly call it, so how can you not enjoy with the many things you can do there? But to be honest, I rarely go to Tiendesitas, That's why it came to a surprise to me when I saw that they actually did some major renovations!

From only having 30,000 square meter space dedicated to the seven retail categories or villages, Tiendesitas now has 35,000 square meters of retail space divided into nine retail categories: food, pet, entertainment, general merchandise, handicrafts, antiques, novelties, fashion, and the people's village.

Speaking of fashion, the spanking new Fashion Village is the first of the three to rise between 2013 to 2016 and now it stands two floors high with 12, 300 square meters of retail space, 113 additional basement parking slots, and 250 new tenants. Not only that, you can now enjoy amenities such as wider aisles, elevators, escalators and it's now fully air-conditioned!:)

The new changes made to Tiendesitas will surely allure shoppers like me and you to come by. But in spite of the modern changes, Tiendesitas still maintains its distinct charm through a novel execution of Maranao architectural elements as seen in its pavilion. :) 

I'm sure you are all excited to see the stores and the new look, so here are some photos of my top 3 favourite shops there…

Women of all sizes and personalities will surely enjoy shopping at Apartment 8, 
which features a range of trendy women wear and accessories!

Props Tools and Cosmetics is not your average beauty shop featuring cosmetic products and tools.  
From time to time, you can also see the owner hosting make-up tutorials!

If you’re out to look for something quirky to add to your room and home, then The Stockroom is the shop for you! 
The Stockroom offers a wide range of fun finds such as Do-It-Yourself wall clocks, 
rewritable luggage tags and modern-designed furniture.

I was pretty ecstatic while going through the different shops. The new tenants there definitely do not disappoint in delivering one-of-a-kind products. I was happy to find my favourite nail polish brands such as Zoya and OPI at Props and it was a treat looking at quirky items and furnitures at The Stockroom.  Obviously, Apartment 8 will always be love! I actually have another favourite, which is the Girl Shoppe. But unfortunately forgot to take a photo cos I got too excited going around and 
shopping. -_- *fail*

Ram Eisley houses Coca-Cola and M&M collectibles along with other novelty items that will 
surely catch your attention as you pass by their colorful shop.

Men can also find classic and trendy polos, shirts and jeans in The Blue Box, 
located at the second floor of the new Tiendesitas building.

GIGA offers a variety of natural wellness products such as virgin coconut oil (VCO) 
bath soaps, aromatherapy oils, massage creams and even dog shampoos!

Take a break from your shopping and enjoy delicious pastries and beverages offered at Café Avelino’s.

Spacious, clean and lovely isn't it? I can't wait for the rest of Tiendesitas to finish. :) It's surely gonna be twice as big with twice as many lifestyle retailers! I'm excited to go around, even if it takes me the whole day! This can also be a great time to do some Christmas shopping, don't you think? You can find everything you need in just one place!:)
