National Pizza Day….with a twist!;)

For people who are utterly obsessed with Pizza and can imagine eating pizza their whole life, I'm sure you already know about National Pizza Day and have already marked your calendars for this scrumptious event. But for those who are not familiar with this awesome event, let me enlighten you!
"California Pizza Kitchen has been celebrating National Pizza Day (NPD) every 15th of August since 2012. The one-day event has been very popular and has seen long lines of waiting guests in the store from opening to closing time."
CPK has stirred NPD a bit, because on its third year, pizza lovers will be enjoying this event not only for a day, but for three days! Can you believe it?? Pizza lovers unite!! On August 13, 14 and 15, with every order of CPK's regular original hand-tossed or crispy thin crust pizzas, guests get another regular pizza for free!

It may not be August yet, but I was lucky enough to be one of the first few people to experience the National Pizza Day in advance!:) Can you guess how many pizzas we ate??

We were served 15 pizzas in total and it was definitely pizza heaven!:) I can never say no to food and I guess it's one of the many perks of blogging; being able to taste good food and announce to everyone the good news about food! hehe!:))

Senior Operations Director Luisa del Rosario Lomotan was the one who explained to us what National Pizza Day was to all of us and she made us all hungry while going through each pizza!

I had around six slices of pizza and my favourite would have to be the Santa Fe among the 15. :) I love the Mexican flavour! But majority loved the Untraditional Cheese. :)

For the free pizza, you can select one from three flavors-- Traditional Cheese, Original Pepperoni and Italian Sausage + Pepper. :)

I'm sure I'm made you guys hungry, so make sure to visit the nearest CPK at your place starting August 13 to 15 and enjoy National Pizza Day with your friends and family!^_^
