Having my very own Instax camera has always been a dream of mine and getting more than that is just the best! I currently have my Instax mini 8 and Instax Share. I've been using those two a lot, because nothing beats being able to print your memories in an instant. I usually put my Instax prints on my journal to remind me about all the nice things that happened. But before putting them on my notebook, I decorate or design them. Which is why, I love it when Instax teaches us more ways to D.I.Y. our films. :)
I attended the first ever Instax DIY Day last August 2014 and so happy I got to go again this time around for their Instax DIY Day Year 2!
Can you guess what we did this time around? :)
The event was held at Shutter Master Pro at Quezon City and we were welcomed with an Alice in Wonderland-looking themed place. :) It was so cute! I couldn't help but take a lot of photos! Especially that dessert table! Nomnomnom!
For this year, four of our fellow bloggers/artist friends were the ones who taught us what we can do with the films we have laying around our table.
Reese Lansangan taught us how to turn Instax prints into a keychain | Camie Juan showed us how she posts her own Instax wide prints- sticking it into a calendar to remind her of good memories | RJ Roque is famous for his collage photos of people and he taught us that along with other Instax effects. | Verniece Enciso being the fashion blogger that she is, taught us how to organize our closet through Instax films. :)
My favorite would have to be Reese and Verniece's, because I would definitely want to try those out! I love keychains and my closet needs TLC! haha!
After the tutorials, we also had a few games and my favorite was the one where we had to create or make our own D.I.Y. version using Instax. :) We actually got competitive with this, because we really wanted to win the cute Instax Mini 8 USB! >_<
My groupmates were Michael Macalos, Melissa Gatchalian, Anagon and Hershey Neri. We were the 'artsy' group! We made a baby mobile, because they say that a baby can remember things even their still small, so what better first memory than pictures, right? :)
We didn't win, but had so much fun doing this activity with my friends!:)
Thank you so much, Instax for the invite! Can't wait for Year 3!
Been in the blogosphere for a decade and I love writing about fashion, beauty, motherhood, the arts and more. This is where you'll find things that make me happy. :)
