Nothing Beats the real thing + Labor day playlist

The long weekend is here and everyone seems to be enjoying LABORACAY! Haha! I, for one, am not into beach parties, so I don't feel like missing out on anything. Thank goodness though, I won't be bumming at home during the weekend cos there are several activities lined up. :)


How about you, guys? Enjoying the start of labor week yet? :)


Mine started quite well. I had a long, tiring, yet productive day! I had two events yesterday; first was Yellow Cab and the next one TOMS. I was just commuting, so I opted for something comfortable, can bear summer heat ( I don't want to get heat stroke!), and still stylish. :)

It was still hot! But at least, I didn't get so sweaty! Oh and don't you think the outfit is just perfect for summer? Ending my birthday month with this outfit!

On a different note, I got a surprising revelation the other day and that is, no matter how cautious you are about making friends, you still end up with bad eggs or sometimes when you think you know someone well enough... you really don't. That's why I'd rather have few, but real friends than an over populated Facebook or 1 million followers on Instagram, yet none of them really care about you - some even unfollow right after they followed (the cycle goes on) you just so they can get you to follow them or maybe catch the attention of your followers as well. How funny. Why bother following someone if you're just after followers and not their content? Better not follow me na lang if that's what you're after. I may only have a humble number of followers, but thankful for the REAL ones.

Always be careful who you trust. You never know. Thankful that I have a good circle of friends that I can trust in this industry. :)

Anyhoo, sorry for the rant! Just being human here.
