Pimple, Zit, Pustule, Bleb, Boil, Spot, Swelling, Eruption, Acne, etc. They all mean one thing and that's having bad skin. When it comes to this, we all have been there and there's no avoiding it. Especially nowadays with the air pollution, toxic environment and greasy food/unhealthy food, everyone is prone to having unhealthy skin as well.

In fact, according to Medical News Today, 80% of teenagers get acne at some point and pimples are inflammations of the skin - sebaceous glands (oil glands) which are infected with bacteria, swell up, and then fill up with puss. There are times that dead skin cells are left behind and get stuck together by sticky sebum, causing a blockage in the pore. Once blocked, this leads to bacteria.

Acne can also be caused by bacteria infection, extreme stress, hereditary and hormonal activities.

It's not easy to hitting puberty and all the more living the rest of your life with acne. I've seen a lot of people suffer from this. It's not contagious, but can be difficult to deal with. Thankfully though with the advances in medicine and beauty regimens, we know have ways to treat pimples and acne better. :)

One of which is AcneCare by Vida Nutriscience Inc. :)

AcneCare has been clinically proven to lessen 44% of acne in two weeks. Aside from that, it also fights red spots, and other skin blemishes that you might have.

They have three products namely AcneCare Soap, AcneCare Drying Lotion and AcneCare Lactoferrin Capsules.

First up, the AcneCare Soap....

The AcneCare Soap is made for oily to normal skin. It is dermatologist recommended and contains the following:

Ace-B3 - has Aloe Vera Extract that moisturizes and protects the skin | Vitamin C that protects us against photo-damage | Vitamin E free radical defense | Niacinamide B3 lightens and clarifies our skin.

Tea Tree Oil - contains Terpenoids which has an anti-septic, anti-fungal and anti-mircrobial properties. ( this is good to shoo off bacteria that is often the cause of pimples)

Bio Sulfur - reduces skin oiliness and prevent pore blockage from forming.

When we have sensitive skin, it's best to go for soaps that are recommended by the dermatologist and is gentle on the skin. The AcneCare Soap is also fragrance-free.

Php 149 per piece.

AcneCare Acne Drying Lotion...

If you want something fast acting solution for your pimple problems, you can try out the Acne Drying Lotion. I believe this is fairly new among the three products and it's very easy to use.

1. Cleanse your face from any dirt you might have encountered
2. Dip a cotton swab into pink sediment and dab on affected area and let it dry overnight
3. Wash off in the morning

Easy as 1,2,3!

This has no SRP yet, but i'll post their FB link below so you can check for updates. :)

Last, but not the least is the AcneCare Lactoferrin Capsules...

The AcneCare Lactoferrin Capsules is with Linumlife Extra and Zinc Gluconate.

Lactoferrin is a protein naturally found in cow and human milk. There are a few benefits, but specifically for the skin, it helps reduce acne activity and preventing breakouts.

Linumlife Extra helps balance hormones and reduces oiliness of the skin

Zinc Glucanate prevents breakouts and helps in giving healthier skin

It is recommended to take two capsules daily before bedtime or as directed by your doctor.

Php 885 for a bottle of 30 capsules.

These three are great products to aid in lessening pimples and acne troubles. But of course, along with these, you would also need to discipline yourself in maintaining a healthy lifestyle- avoid oily, fatty and preservatives when it comes to your food. Also, stress is one of the primary sources, so try to lighten your load and have a more happy disposition. :)
