Staycation at The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel.♥

by - November 04, 2017

Whenever long holidays strike, birthdays or you just want to take a break, it's always good to have a quick getaway or what some fondly call a 'staycation'. :) It's the perfect breather from all the hustle and bustle of our busy lives and a nice way to unwind and bond with your family. :)

A home away from home is what I love to call all our hotel stays and a few weeks ago, we had an overnight stay at The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel, an urban retreat place located right at the heart of Ortigas. :) The hotel is managed by Hospitality Innovators Inc. a.k.a. HII, one of the leading hotel and property management companies in the Philippines. Another popular hotel of theirs is Picasso Boutique in Makati City.

As soon as we arrived at the lobby of The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel, I noticed the very posh decors, bright ambiance and minimalist look. Just a few things that I look for at hotels and the staff were already very welcoming and courteous. :) We easily got to confirm our booking and lead up to our room.

BTW, they also have FREE parking if you're planning to bring your car during your stay. :)

For our overnight stay, we got the suite room. It is the biggest one in The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel with a size of 64.5-68.5 sqm. The room totally exceeded my expectations in terms of  arrangements, because usually when we're with my grandmother, i'd have to ask for an extra bed or room. But for this one, it was big enough for all of us! The room amenities was everything!

Let me give you a little tour of our room...

The cozy receiving area is the first thing you'll see as you enter the room and it's already complete with 3-seater sofa and 32-inch LCD TV with cable and in-room WiFi access. :)

The suite also has a dining area and kitchenette with electric stove and it's complete with cookware set, microwave oven and refrigerator. So, in case you want to buy your own food and just stay in your room the whole day, you can easily cook and store your food!

Next up are the bedrooms! Like I mentioned above, the suite room of The Exchange Regency Hotel was big enough for all us, because they actually have two bedrooms in the suite! :)

The first one is the Master's bedroom with a queen-sized bed, so this is the one my husband and youngest son Asher stayed in and it also has a bathroom inside the room already.

The scenic view of Ortigas from 25th floor of our room. :)

This is the second room, which is a bit smaller but still with a spacious bed and this is where my grandmother and other son Athan slept in. :)

There are also two bathrooms in the suite and each one had bath & hand towels, bathmat, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and bath and facial soap. :) I honestly didn't even need to call for anything extra during our stay since everything was well provided.

While my grandmother and eldest son Athan chilled in our room, my husband, youngest son Asher and I decided to explore the hotel a bit more, so our first stop was the 3rd floor where they have the hotel facilities. :)

GAME ROOM

FITNESS CENTER

FUNCTION ROOM

CHILDREN'S PLAY AREA

The most popular and favorite of my youngest son Asher was the playground! :) He kept going back to this and I think it's nice that the hotel had this to give more options for the kids aside from the typical swimming activity. :)

Aside from the ones I showed above, they also have a Meeting Room and a Mini Golf area. :) You practically have everything you would ever need at The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel.

After touring the hotel facilities, we dropped off my youngest son Asher back to our room and decided to get ourselves some snacks and what do you know, the hotel is nearby a lot of hotspots, like SM Megamall, Capitol Commons, Kapitolyo, Metrowalk and Ayala the 30th!You can walk to these locations or easily Uber/Grab Car it for less than a Php 100. I personally love it when a hotel is near establishments, because it gives me the chance to do more or enjoy my stay at its fullest. :)

But in case you're not up for a walk to the mall, the also conveniently have a FamilyMart below building and a couple of restaurants around it, like Benassi Ristorante Italiano, Mario's Kitchen, The Vinery and Tully's Coffee. :) So many options to choose from!

By night time, we all cozied up in our beds and of course, the hardest part was waking up the next day! Just look at these two all cuddled up! ^_^

Made me want to hit the snooze button for a couple more minutes, but didn't want to miss breakfast, so had to wake up everyone from their deep slumber. :)

For breakfast, we headed to Cuisine by Chef & Brewer, which was also located below the hotel.

A delicious buffet breakfast with the family! One of my favorite things about staycations and something worth waking up early to - the perfect start to our day!:) The food was well prepared with different options and our coffee cup was never empty, thanks to the accommodating staff. But I think the kind of food that they serve varies per day.

While walking back to the hotel, I spotted the signage of The Little Gym...

It's a fitness and development center for kids and here they can learn recreational gymnastics, martial arts, dance classes and more! If you're staying for more than a day at The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel, you can opt to try it out if you're looking for more activities for your kids. :) I wish I had the chance to visit it!

Once we got back up to our room, we rested for 20 minutes to let our hefty breakfast digest and then it was off to swimming! Something the boys really looked forward to. ^_^

The swimming area is also one of the many hotel facilities and they have an Adult and kiddie pool together with a Sauna and Jacuzzi. :) No staycation is ever complete for the kids without pool time!

Happy kiddos means happy parents! :)

Our stay at The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel has been one of our best staycations yet. They truly live up to their hotel tagline "SO MUCH FOR SO LITTLE.", because for the low price of Php 3,000 to Php 6,000 (price is depending on your room), you already get so much quality service from them and you are provided everything that you need from a beautiful room, down to great amenities and facilities to use. :)

My family and I really couldn't have asked for more. They gave us relaxation, comfort, convenience and a good leisure.

Thank you so much, The Exchange Regency Residence Hotel for making our stay stellar!♥
