Why it's important for children to drink milk everyday!

Growing up, we all know how milk is a crucial part of it. It's one of the most recommended drink for children aside from water. If I could have my way, I would like my own kids to drink milk their whole lives. That's why as small as they are now, I'm already instilling the healthy habit of drink milk everyday. :)

Role as parents

Children live an active lifestyle and are at a point of development. As moms, we should make sure that they get the proper nutrients that their body needs to grow up healthy and build strong bones. Aside from eating the right kind of food, drinking milk should be a top priority. 

My son Asher is 6 years old now and I'm thankful that he loves drinking milk. Whether it's just on its own or with cereal, he enjoys it. Main reason why I make sure we always have milk stocked up at home. :)

Benefits of milk intake

Drinking milk everyday is a rich source of calcium. It's one of the most common things we know that benefits the body and aside from that, it is important for growing teeth, a good source of protein, and provides vitamins. So, if your kid is a picky/fussy eater, never forget to give them milk, so it can fill the  nutrient gaps in their diet. :) 

What if it's a struggle making them drink milk?

In any case that your child doesn't drink as much milk as they should, you can always mix milk in their favorite food, like mashed potato, pasta, gratin, milk based desserts, etc. This way, they still get the proper nutrition too!
