Order Online with PayMaya + How to help Angkas Drivers!
It’s
officially week 4 of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) and the family and I
have been strictly following it since March 15. I’m the main runner of our
family for groceries and every two weeks, I go so that we have enough supply at
home. But there are moments when my boys randomly tell me that they miss
restaurant food and I totally feel them. I miss it so much too. Thankfully, we
still have a few restos within the city that are open for delivery. :)
Speaking
of delivery, since cash is one of the ways that we can transport viruses, I’ve
been using my PayMaya virtual card to pay
for delivery transactions. :) It’s super
easy, convenient and you can also practice social distancing better for you and
your rider too!
For
online deliveries, you can easily use your PayMaya virtual
card or physical card as your payment option. All you have to
do is:
1. Log on to your
favorite restaurant’s site and add orders to your cart
2. Proceed to checkout
and choose the card payment option.
3. Input your card details
in the check-out page (FOR VIRTUAL CARD: you can find this by tapping My Cards
on your PayMaya app and selecting Online Payment card number)
4. Confirm your payment
5. Once successful, you
will receive an SMS with the complete details of your transaction
For some
restaurants like Burger King, Red Ribbon, and Domino’s Pizza, you can even pay
using the mobile number linked to your account.
1. Log on to your
favorite online commerce site and add your orders to your card
2. Proceed to checkout and
choose the online payment/ /debit card option, depending on the website
3. You will be
redirected to the PayMaya Checkout page. Click the “Pay with PayMaya” button
4. Log in using your
PayMaya mobile number and password
5. You will receive a
One-Time PIN (OTP) in the mobile number linked to your PayMaya account. Enter
the OTP on the webpage to verify your transaction.
6. Once successful, you
will receive an SMS with the complete details of your transaction
Having food delivered to us is not
just a way to brighten the day of loved ones during quarantine, but is also a
great way to help riders have continuous work in these times to support their
families. :)
Last
Monday, I actually used my PayMaya to order food. As a way to show my appreciation to
our amazing delivery riders, who are also considered frontliners in this, I
also bought him food. ♥ I know
how tirelessly they line up at restaurants and deliver from one doorstep to
another, so even in this small way, we can show them our “thanks!” and
“we got you too!” :)
If
you’re looking for more ways to help, especially those in need, why not send a
donation for Angkas drivers
