I wish I could visit my late Thai-kong now that it's Undas, but unfortunately I can't and it's been years. He's buried in Taiwan and in a very far province of Taiwan, so both my mom and I can't visit him. :( It's hard to spot grave sites there too. Sigh. I'm sure he understands though and at least he's happy wherever he is. We'll just send our prayers and We love you, Thai-kong!❤ Don't forget to visit your loved ones this November if you have the chance. :)
Dearest Athan,
I know you're still too little to read what I'm writing here, but I just want you to know how much Daddy and I love you. We've been through tough situations and criticisms before, but still you remained our strength. You're currently 1 year and 5 months now and as young as you are I want you to experience the best things in life. May it be a simple Halloween party, swimming, amusement park ride or ice cream. Right now you don't really understand these things I want you to experience, but at least someday you can look back and say, "I did that!" and reminisce on them. Memories is what make's life sweet and worth living, so as long as you have a good childhood I believe you would grow up to be a happy person. Life is short as they say and as your parents we want you to have the best in this world, so even if you encounter bad things you would learn to never give up because you know there would always be good things ahead. When you grow up I hope you won't forget to live life as an adventure. Aside from education, living your life to the fullest and experiencing life's goodness is the the greatest thing we can leave you.
I love you so much, Athan and there was never a day that I regret being mother to you. I may have had you early then expected, but you are the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me and your Daddy. Going home after school, seeing you run to me and embracing me real tight as if you didn't see me for days is absolutely bliss to me. It's the best feeling. I love you so much, Hunbun. And I hope that you feel happy having us as your parents as we feel truly blessed having you as our son. This letter is not enough to express how much I love you, but everyday watching you grow up is a testament on how much I do. I love, love, love you my son. Always remember that.
Love always, Mommy.❤
Halloween was never my favorite holiday nor did I consider it a holiday. I rarely noticed it because we don't widely celebrate it here in Manila, so I took no notice to it at all up until yesterday. :) After my NSTP immersion, I immediately went home to get ready with Athan and Wubie for our FIRST Halloween party courtesy of Ate Dior, Dallas and Pam. We dressed Athan up in a cutesy patootie cow costume and I know it's not scary, but CUTE! For us though, well we sticked to being casual. This day was for Athan. :)

showing of costumes on stage
At the Halloween event, we had some free food and parading of the kids costume on stage. It was really fun. The babies were also in costume. I saw a newborn in a hot dog costume and Hermione from Harry Potter. =p But after that Athan just busily walked outside the club house because the ventriloquist wasn't very entertaining for us. However the Trick or Treating part after was super fun!:) The whole pumpkin bag of Athan was filled with candy and while walking some houses had dirty ice cream, taho and drinks in front of their houses!:) It sweet bliss and surely a great treat! I think we enjoyed more than Athan and Dallas. Haha. Walking from house to house is fun when you know you've got candies waiting for you. =p

Trick or treat!
I never knew Halloween was this fun. I hope we can do this again as a family next year. I love the treats, experience and most of all doing it with my two boys, Ate Dior and Dallas. :) Well, HAPPY HALLOWEEN, everyone!:)
Have you ever done trick or treating?
What would your costume be?
Do you like Halloween?

Dallas and Ate Dior are back from Australia!!:) We went to visit them yesterday after my NSTP class. It's been a year since we last saw them and Athan was just around 3 months old when they left, so I was really happy to see that Athan and Dallas can finally play with each other now. They really do grow up fast!:) Aside from all that excitement, Athan and I got some really neat pasalubongs--

Cute Swim suit and Baby Espadrille shoes for Athan. Loving the color!❤

A Kimmi doll--MANAMI!!❤ for me. :)
We also got some yummy chocolates and I can't stop eating them.xD I've had 3 pieces Twix for today and after dinner I'm going for the Toblerone!=p Oh joy!
I'm really glad they're home for the holidays plus Ate Maine is also coming home on December to celebrate Christmas with the family. I'm so happy for Wubie because it's been 7 years since his family spent Christmas complete and now that his sisters are back it's going to be indeed a MERRY christmas for him. :) Now that I've got two families to spend Christmas with, I consider myself one happy person because this year we're all complete and this will be Athan's 2nd Christmas!:) Tis' the season to be jolly...falalalalalala! I just love the holidays, don't you?:)
It's been officially 28 months since we've been together and may I say they are the best months of my life because I am with you. A man who I know is madly in love with me and I the same. This generation is a crazy one and I am lucky to have found my true love at a young age. Others take a life time, but for us, we've got a life time to spend together with our little boy. :) I love you, Wubie, Thank you for always being there for me and I promise to be your side no matter what. Happy 28 months!
